Cute Easter Cards & Treat Basket with the Easter Basket Bundle

 Spring is slowly starting to peek its head out here in New York, and today felt like one of those classic “fake spring” days—sunny, warmer, and just enough hope that winter might finally be loosening its grip. Add in the first day of Daylight Savings Time and suddenly the longer evenings make it feel like crafting season is officially in full swing.

So tonight during Stampin’ Sunday, we leaned right into that spring feeling with some adorable Easter projects using the Easter Basket Bundle. This bundle is seriously one of the cutest sets I’ve seen in a while, with sweet little bunnies, a woven basket die, and endless ways to create Easter cards and treats.

Let’s take a look at the three projects we created together.

(All project instructions were demonstrated during the live session.

Project #1 – Happy Easter Basket Card

Our first project featured the cutest little Easter basket card. The basket die actually creates a woven look by threading cardstock strips through the die cuts, which gives it a realistic basket texture.

For this design, I paired the basket with a soft spring color palette:

  • Pretty in Pink

  • Pool Party

  • Old Olive

  • Crumb Cake

The little chocolate bunny tucked into the grass is stamped simply in Early Espresso and layered with dimensionals to add depth.

One of the things I love about this card is how easy it is to customize. During the live, we even compared Balmy Blue vs Pretty in Pink versions of the design. The blue and yellow combination really popped, but the pink version felt perfectly springy too.

Tip: If you want the basket weave to look neat and polished, weave the strips before trimming the edges. It makes the whole process much easier.

Project #2 – 3D Easter Basket Treat Holder


Next up was my personal favorite project of the night: a mini 3D Easter basket treat holder.

This little basket is made using the same woven basket die, but we paired it with a simple scored box base so it can actually hold candy.

And yes… it fits six chocolate eggs perfectly.

To finish the design, we added:

  • Shimmer grass inside the basket

  • A layered bow

  • A sweet pastel color combo

This project would be absolutely adorable as:

  • Easter table place settings

  • Small gifts for neighbors

  • Classroom treats

  • Party favors for kids

You could even fill them with butter mints, jellybeans, or mini chocolates depending on your theme.

Project #3 – “Easter’s on Its Way” Bunny Card


Our final project was a clean and simple Easter card featuring a sweet bunny and a ribbon accent.

The bunny was stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock and only lightly colored in the ears with Stampin’ Blends for a subtle effect. Sometimes less really is more when it comes to coloring.

We layered the bunny on a scalloped oval from the new Scalloped Wishes dies and finished the card with Easter egg embellishments.

It’s quick, easy, and perfect when you need to make multiple Easter cards.

Why I Love This Easter Bundle

The Easter Basket Bundle really shines because it combines both cards and treat projects in one set.

You can:

  • Create woven basket elements

  • Build layered scenes

  • Make dimensional projects

  • Use the bunny images for quick stamped cards

That kind of versatility is what makes a bundle worth adding to your craft stash.

🌸 Sweet Bugs Bundle: 3 Adorable & Easy Cards You’ll Love

 If you’ve been craving something cute, cheerful, and easy, this week’s projects are going to hit the spot.

Between winter weather that just won’t quit and the itch to start thinking spring, I was more than ready to play with the Sweet Bugs Bundle from Stampin’ Up!—and let me tell you, this suite did most of the work for us.

These three cards are quick to make, beginner-friendly, and full of charming little details that make you smile without requiring complicated techniques. If you love letting Designer Series Paper shine (and who doesn’t?), you’re going to love these.

This suite is adorable without being over-the-top, and it’s incredibly versatile. You get:

  • A playful stamp set with sweet sentiments

✂️ Card #1: Hello Friend (Simple with a Twist)


This card is proof that one angled piece of DSP can completely change a layout.

  • Thick Basic White card base

  • Angled Designer Series Paper panel

  • Old Olive rickrack ribbon to soften the seam

  • A simple “Hello Friend” sentiment

  • A fussy-cut ladybug straight from the DSP

It’s clean, quick, and perfect when you need a card now but still want it to feel special.

Tip: Cutting your DSP at an angle—without overthinking measurements—adds instant interest.

🌿 Card #2: Hello with a Whimsical Scene


This one might be my favorite (don’t tell the others).

Using the pre-printed scene panels from the DSP, you can build a little woodland moment in minutes:

  • Layered 3" x 4" panels for the background

  • Dimensionals to pop up the scene

  • Sweet stamped and colored bugs

  • Tiny epoxy ladybugs scattered for movement

This is a great example of letting paper do 90% of the work and then adding just a few stamped elements to bring it to life.

🐜 Card #3: Spread Joy (Playful & Dimensional)


This card leans fully into the whimsy—and I love it.

  • Layered Old Olive and DSP panels

  • Lily of the Valley stamped and softly colored

  • A marching line of ants (how cute is that?)

  • A bee watering the garden

  • A stitched “Spread Joy” sentiment popped up with dimension

It’s playful, dimensional, and still very achievable—even if detailed cards usually intimidate you.

💡 Why These Cards Work So Well

  • No complicated folds

  • Minimal coloring

  • Great layouts to mass-produce

  • Easy to adapt for different sentiments or occasions

If you’re easing back into crafting or just want something joyful and stress-free, this is a fantastic suite to have on your desk.
