From Scrubs to Stamps: How Katrina’s Kreative Heart Was Born

Welcome! If you had told me years ago that a simple sheet of cardstock and some ink could change my life, I might have laughed. But here I am, proof that sometimes, the smallest things bring the biggest joy.

As a full-time nurse, my days are filled with caring for others, making split-second decisions, and managing an endless to-do list. It’s a rewarding career, but let’s be honest—it’s also exhausting. I needed something that was just for me—something creative, fulfilling, and stress-free.

That’s when I rediscovered paper crafting. It wasn’t just about making cards; it was about pressing pause on the chaos, letting my creativity flow, and experiencing that little thrill of instant gratification—because in just a few minutes, I could create something beautiful.

But what truly made this journey special was the connection it gave me with my mom. She shared my love of crafting, and some of my fondest memories are of us laughing over stacks of patterned paper and ink-stained fingers. Those moments were priceless.

When I found Stampin’ Up!, everything clicked. It was more than just stamps and supplies—it was a community of like-minded crafters who just got it. I knew right then that I wanted to be part of something bigger. I wanted to help others find that same joy, that same escape, and that same sense of connection—whether it was through a handmade card, a creative workshop, or just sharing a love for pretty paper.

And so, Katrina’s Kreative Heart was born.

Now, I get to combine my love for crafting with my passion for teaching and inspiring others. Whether you’re here for creative ideas, a little crafting therapy, or just a dose of fun, I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s make something beautiful together!

Have a blessed day and Happy Stamping,
