Hello and welcome to my blog! I am so glad you are able to join us today for our Snowflake Showcase Blog Hop! You maybe just getting starter here, at my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart, or you may have just arrived from the person previous to me in the list. Again, you are currently visiting my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart.

I just absolutely LOVE this gorgeous collection of snowflakes and flowers. Stampin' Up! has absolutely outdone themselves on this suite of product, right down to the Velveteen paper!

For this card, I used a standard card base of Merry Merlot cardstock cut 85" x 5.5"  and I cut the large snowflake in the Snowfall die collection from the White Velveteen paper and 2 of the snowflake flourish, one from Sparkle Glimmer paper and one from the Joyous Noel Glimmer paper and layered them onto the card front with the large snowflake on the top with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then stamped the sentiment onto a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock in Merry Merlot ink and trimmed it to approximately .75" x 4" and bannered each end with the Triple Banner punch and added it to the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks so much for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you won't want to miss, so remember, you are currently on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart, so be sure to check the line up below and follow the links to the next blog in line.

Craft Fair Idea - Spirited Snowmen Treat Holder

Hello, good morning and welcome to my blog! Today, I want to share another, quick and easy craft fair sales item idea with you using our Lustrous White Mini Gable Boxes. I love these boxes because they're not only adorable, they are quite handy for treats and small gifts.

So to make this perfect for a Christmas Bizarre or Craft Fair, I stamped both sides of the Gable Box, while it was still in the flat fold position with the Buffalo Check stamp and Pool Party ink. I then unfolded the box and filled it with treats (I had some pretty green foil wrapped caramels).
Then, I stamped the sweet little snowman from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in with my Stampin' Blends markers. I used the light Pool Party marker to outline around his snow body, I colored his hat with the dark Real Red and the dark Granny Apple Green. I did his scarf and boots in the same dark Granny Apple Green and his stick arms and legs with the dark Crumb Cake and his carrot nose was done in the dark Pumpkin Pie and his buttons are in the dark Real Red. To finish him off, I used Clear Wink of Stella all over his face and body to make him sparkle like snow.
I then punched him out with the 2 1/4 Circle Punch and die cut a scalloped circle from a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelit Dies and adhered these together with a little Snail adhesive and I attached it to the front of the treat box using a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today's project. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear them. In the meantime, Happy Stamping and have a wonderful weekend and be sure to check back on Sunday as I will be hopping along with many other demonstrators, featuring the gorgeous, Snowflake Showcase, which goes live for customers Thursday, November 1st!

Coming November 1st, Snowflake Showcase

Hello, happy Thursday and welcome to my blog! I am so excited to share with you a brand new release coming November 1st for customers, called, Snowflake Showcase! To die for! And yes...there are dies! Gorgeous, beautiful amazing dies!
This showcase consists of 2 stamp sets, Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surrounds, a die set, Snowfall Thinlits (consists of 20 dies, the largest snowflake measuring 3.25"), Snowflake trinkets and the most beautiful 12" x 12" White velvet paper!
I've enjoyed playing with this showcase and today I want to share with you just one of the designs using the largest snowflake thinlit.
To re-create this card, I used a card base made from thick Whisper White cardstock, measuring 4.25" x 11" scored and folded at 5.5" for a top folding card. I then cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock,4" x 5.25" and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, Feathers and Frost, using Cherry Cobbler ink. I attached that to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then cut a 4" square from the White Velvet sheets and ran it through the Big Shot with the largest snowflake die from the Snowfall thinlits collection. I attached the snowflake to the center of the card using a Stampin' Dimensional and added a Basic Rhinestone to the center.
This was a quick and simple card to make and uses only a few supplies. This would be a simple card to mass produce  as well. I hope you enjoyed this and are looking forward to this release as much as I am and should you REALLY want this and don't want to wait until November, this would be a perfect time to join my team! You could add this set to your starter kit as part of your $125 in product for just $99 + tax and enjoy FREE shipping! As always, the starter kit is the best deal in the catalog. Craft Fair Idea - Fun K-Cup Holder with Falling for Leaves

Hello and Happy Tuesday evening! Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by to hang out with me for a bit. Wow, what a day today has been...let's just chock it up to "one of THOSE days"!
But, on a lighter note, I have a fun project to share with you today, using the gorgeous Falling For Leaves bundle found in the 2018 Holiday Catalog. This bundle is just beautiful and I wanted to do something fun with it, and right now is prime craft fair season so I am always looking for fun little projects to sell at my booths and this little K-cup holder fit the bill!
This cute little holder uses a full sheet of cardstock, I used Early Espresso since I was going for a Fallish look. Starting with the 8.5" edge, I scored at 2" and 6.5". I then rotated to the 11" side and scored at 4", 6.25", 8.25" and 10.5". Once I completed all of my score lines, I cut away the areas marked with an X in the photo of the template below. Once those areas were removed, I cut up the score lines indicated with the arrows, that created the box tabs and that center tab, I did miter slightly on both sides. Then, before putting my box together, I punched out two 1.75" circles and marked where I wanted to punch my holes for my K-cups and I punched them out. Then, using Tear & Tape, I placed adhesive on the narrow end tab below the punched holes, and the outside of all the side tabs. I then rounded the top edge with the Trio punch and cut a piece of the Wood Textures DSP 4.25" x 2" and 4.25" x 1.75". I rounded 2 corners of the 2" piece and stamped the leaf image from the Falling For Leaves stamp set randomly over both pieces with Early Espresso ink. I then attached them to the box and then assembled the box. Once the box was full assembled, I cut the leaf shape from a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and the intricate leaf was cut from a piece of Mango Melody and layered together. I then stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White with Early Espresso ink and punched out using the 2" circle punch and layered onto a piece of the Mango Melody punched with the Starburst punch. Both were attached to the box using Stampin' Dimensionals.
That completes today's project. I hope you enjoyed it. If you would prefer to see this done in video, I did it during a Facebook Live and you can view that here.
Have a great night, until next time.
