By the Bay Simple Layout

By_the_bay_stips_kkh
Hey friends,
This week I'm featuring the By the Bay Suite Collection. which includes the Seaside Bay bundle (the dies are currently out of stock but due to arrive by March 27) but I think the star of this show is the DSP, By The Bay. This paper is absolutely GORGEOUS! There are sheets that have a pearlized embossed elements, like this one here, while others have gold foil elements.

Today's card is a sympathy card. It's not something you get excited to make, however it's one of those cards that are good to have on hand for when you need one because when those occasions come up, we aren't typically feeling very creative, so I like to have them on hand to reach for when I inevitably need to drop one in the mail.

This card features a simple layout that is an easy go to for a quick and simple card and will work with almost any stamp set and DSP. And these Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls are perfect as they will go through the mail easily so you can feel free to add them to your creations.

Happy Stamping,

Fancy Flora Lace Look

Fancy Flora Lace

Welcome back friends! I'm here today with another card featuring the Fancy Flora Suite collection. This time I'm using the detailed card front die. Now typically I shy away from detailed dies like this one because of the time it takes to remove all of the "shards" of paper that get stuck however, this particular bundle was just to gorgeous to allow this one die to deter me. But I also found a little tip to share with you on how to make this a pretty smooth process.. make sure you're using the Stampin' Up! Cut & Emboss Machine. Our machines are made with precision which means the pressure applied, when rolling through is spot on creating perfect cuts every time. But, here's a tip for you...when cutting these super detailed dies, run them through FACE UP! You read that correct, face up! Lay the die on the cutting plate with the cutting side up, place your paper on top of the die followed by the second cutting plate and run it through. Give it a try then come back and let me know how it worked out for you!

Happy Stamping,
