Vibrant Vases with the Rubber Band Background

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I wanted to jump in this morning and share with you the last card from Sunday's Facebook Live session. This one was created using the Rubber Band Technique. This really is fun. You actually create this fun background using rubber bands!

Get all the measurements and the supply list in the downloadable PDF. I've had a lot of fun playing with the Vibrant Vases stamp set. It has proved it self to be very versatile as it works with many different folds and techniques such as the Rubber Band background. To achieve this fun background, mask off the right side of the card panel and sponge on the color, in this case, I used Coastal Cabana. Then wrap at least 3 different widths of rubber bands around an acrylic block and ink it up and stamp onto the sponged area. I did this several times to achieve the look I wanted. Then remove the post it mask. Then proceed as usual to create your card.

A Double Fun Fold Featuring the Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is off to a great start! Yesterday was your typical Monday where things get a little crazy but all in all, it wasn't bad, so I anticipate today will be terrific!

The design of this card is perfect for a group to present a recipient with LOTS of signatures and well wishes and it's a lot of fun to make. It's essentially a card within a card!

I'm really loving the Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape together. They just scream, HAPPY! And who doesn't love happy?

Twisted Gate Fold Featuring the Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Monday my friends! I'm so excited to have you stop by to see today's project which was also featured last night during my Facebook Live. If you didn't catch it, no problem, there's always replay. But, if you ever want to catch me live, stop by my Facebook page on Sunday evenings at 7 PM ET. We have lots of fun! Anyhoo, this card is so much fun to make and receive! It's a twisted gate fold and it is featuring my product pick for this week, Vibrant Vases.

I love how this card came together. It also features some of our shades of purple, including our new InColor, Purple Posy! Although, due to a quality control issue with the ink, this color pairs perfectly with Highland Heather (used here) as well as Gorgeous Grape and I just used my Purple Posy Stampin' Write Marker to stamp inside my flower petals using the huffing technique!

Another Cute Card featuring We'll Walrus Be Friends

Hello and Happy Friday! Thank you so much for stopping by to hang out with me for a bit. Today's card again is featuring one of my all time favorite stamp sets, We'll Walrus Be Friends! I just love this cute little guy. I love him so much, I actually named him! Yes, I realize Wally is pretty predictable, what can I say? But isn't he the cutest? I mean really? !

For this cutie pie, you will find a list of supplies down below, linked to my online store for your convenience as well as a downloadable, printable PDF. I hope you will chose to shop with me for any supplies you may need to recreate this cute little dude.

Measurements:

Basic Gray 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4" and 4" x 3"
Pool Party 3 3/4" x 5"
Whisper White 3 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Directions:

Run the Pool Party cardstock panel through your die cutting/embossing machine with the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card. Then stamp the image and the sentiment onto the Whisper White panel in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and color the Walrus with the light and dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blends and the ice burg and water with the light and dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends. Adhere the panel to the 4" x 3" Basic Gray panel and attach to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals
