A Double Fun Fold Featuring the Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is off to a great start! Yesterday was your typical Monday where things get a little crazy but all in all, it wasn't bad, so I anticipate today will be terrific!
Okay, so if you follow me on Facebook, I promised a clean recording and a downloadable PDF for this Double Fun Fold from Facebook Live...and as promised here it is; you can find the downloadable PDF and video recording below.

The design of this card is perfect for a group to present a recipient with LOTS of signatures and well wishes and it's a lot of fun to make. It's essentially a card within a card!
I'm really loving the Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape together. They just scream, HAPPY! And who doesn't love happy?

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know which version of this card you prefer, this one here, or the one featured in the video tutorial? Let me know below. In the meantime, Happy Stamping,

Above the Clouds Double Slider Card

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Thanks so much for stopping by. Today I have a really fun and interactive card for you. It's a double slider and it's SO easy to make. But first, I have to tell you, Saturday I held by catalog launch party, and OMG we had so much fun! It was everything I had hoped. I had a great turn out and we had LOTS of food (I'm still eating on left overs lol) games and prizes and LOTS of samples and displays and I'm hearing a lot of great feedback from attendee's so, I'm calling it a HUGE success. For those of you that did attend, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It truly was a labor of love and I can't thank you enough for the fun, the laughter and your friendship. You all mean the world to me. Thank you!

Now on to today's fun double slider card! To create this card, you will need to start with a card base measuring 5 1/2" x 8 3/8". I used Coastal Cabana as my card base. You will then score this with the long edge to the top at 1/4"; 3" and 5 3/4". Then, using the Classic Label punch, take a "snip" from the top and bottom of the panel created with the 5 3/4" score line. This is going to create the slider area.

Next, wrap a piece of plastic approximately 12" x 1 3/4" around the panel you created the 'notches' and using Tear & Tape, seal the plastic in a loop around the panel. It should nest inside the notches you punched with the Classic Label punch.

Now cut 2 panels of Coastal Cabana measuring 2 1/2" X 4 3/8" and 2 panels of Whisper White 2 5/16" x 4 3/16" and decorate with your stamps and ink. Now the image you want to rise to the top, add a couple of glue dots to the bottom front of the image panel and lay face down onto the plastic piece. Be sure the image is adhered only to the plastic loop and not the card base at all otherwise your image won't slide. Now, adhere the image that will slide down, to the front of the plastic loop with glue dots to just the top of the image on the back. Punch a hole in the bottom and tie a piece of ribbon to create a pull. Next add Tear & Tape down the 1/4 fold and adhere the card shut.
To complete the card, I added a piece of DSP to the front measuring 2 3/4" x  5 1/4" and stamped my Hot Air Balloon and punched it for the front.

I truly hope you enjoyed today's card. It was a lot of fun to make and I hope it inspires you to try it out as well. If you enjoy cards such as this, and would like tutorials direct to you inbox, then be sure to join my mailing list here.

Happy Stamping,

Birthday Cheer Pop Up Card

Hello and good morning! I'm so glad you could join me today! I have a really fun card to share with you. I saw Ronda Wade create a pop up card like this last week and I knew I had to give it a try using the Birthday Cheer bundle. I just love this bundle as it is the PERFECT birthday set as just looking at it invokes a smile and a feeling of fun and excitement....all those feelings a birthday should create.
The Designer Series Paper is from the How Sweet It Is collection found in the 2019 Occasions catalog. I love the bright colors in this paper along with the sweet, fun designs. Here my colors are Coastal Cabana, Mellon Mambo and Whisper White; but what makes this card so special is the inside. When the recipient opens this card, they are greeted with a sweet and unexpected surprise! Upon opening this fun card, 4 sweet cupcakes pop out! To color these sweet cupcakes, I used my Blender pens and ink pads then added some clear Wink of Stella for a little shimmer and shine. I love that stuff and can never get enough of it.
If you would like to view the dimensions and watch as I make this card, just watch the replay of my live video at http://bit.ly/2EgQYdr.
Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, Stampin' Up! has added a few more items to Sale-a-bration, you can check those out here in the newly released flyer @  http://bit.ly/2DQnSQx

Well, that's all for today. Have a terrific Tuesday my friends, until next time, Happy Stamping,
