A Great Deal On Paper Pumpkin!

Happy Thursday! I just wanted to share one more time before time runs out, that Paper Pumpkin has a phenomenal deal going on right now....If you sign up for a recurring subscription by Saturday 6/10/17 you will get 25% off your first 3 months! Now, this is only for brand new subscribers, so if you are a past subscriber, unfortunately, you would not be eligible for this fantastic deal.

What is Paper Pumpkin?

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly crafting kit subscription. It arrives in your mailbox each month containing everything you need to complete the months project. Each month, you receive a brand new, exclusive photo-polymer stamp set (You can not purchase these stamp sets separately anywhere, they are exclusive to that months kit); one or two Stampin' Spot ink pads, this is a great way to grow your ink color collection because the colors will NOT repeat for at least 12 months! So that is easily 12-24 new colors per year to add to your color collection! You will receive all of the pre-cut to size cardstock necessary to complete 8-12 of the project designs along with all of the embellishments needed to decorate your projects. Projects are typically greeting cards, however, they love to throw in treat bags and boxes into the mix, one past kit consisted of materials to create adorable party banners! They also include any Stampin' Dimensionals and Glue Dots that would be necessary to complete your project. All you need to supply is a pair of scissors to cut Bakers Twine or Ribbon and basic adhesive of your choice. Your very first shipment will include a size D clear acrylic block that you will keep to use with all future kits.

Why Paper Pumpkin?

1. Every kit comes with an exclusive stamp set to use over and over!
2. We also send at least one Classic Stampin’ Spot with every kit. The colors don’t repeat in a 12-month period, so it’s easy to build a collection of colorful ink.
3. t’s an incredible value! In addition to a stamp set an ink spot(s), the kits are packed with supplies many to make awesome projects like cards, home décor, gift packaging, and more. For example, our card kits (6+ per year) always include 8 cards—at least!
4. It’s flexible! You can suspend (for a month) or cancel at anytime.
5. Since all the prep work is done, the projects take a shorter time to complete, making it the perfect on-the-go craft. Headed out of town? Grab a kit to create during some downtime. It’s all contained in one little box, so it’s easy to take anywhere!
6. It’s a surprise in your mailbox every month. Because who doesn’t love happy mail?
7. Every month, we share a video to quickly demonstrate how to assemble each kit so that you can pass it along to your subscribers. Just go to PumpkinHowTo.com to link over to our YouTube channel.
8. You can create the project as we intended, or if you’re feeling the urge to get a little creative, head on over to our Pinterest page. We link to our subscribers’ brilliant projects every month.
9. Every subscriber has exclusive access to our selection of past kits. So, when a kit runs out, you can buy more—either as a full kit or a refill (without stamp set and ink).
10. It's a great opportunity to learn and play with new techniques (recent kit included watercolor pencils and emboss resist paper!)

Eastern Palace Suite and Tranquil Tide

Happy Thursday! I am so glad you stopped by! We're getting soooo close to the launch of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog! OH-EM-GEE! I can barely contain myself and CAN NOT wait to be able to order beyond the limited pre-order selection Stampin' UP! allowed us demonstrators to get ahead of time. Trust me, that alone makes it sooo worth being a demo...because lets face it, being able to order a little bit is far better than not being able to order at all; well at least that is my theory...don't laugh, I can't help myself...who knew picking up a rubber stamp would lead to such an addiction?
Anyhoo, I have a really cute card for you using the Eastern Palace suite of product that is only available as a bundle until 5/31/17. Once the catalog goes live on 6/1, the only bundled items in this suite will be the stamp and die set. Everything else will be an individual purchase and will ultimately cast you a little more . I love these dies too. They are so different from any other dies we have ever carried because several of the dies make partial cuts, creating dimension rather than fully cutting the images out. I will post an image of all the possible looks with this die set in the near future so you can see them all, but for now, here is my card for today using the stamp set, dies and designer series paper;
Altered partial die cut using the Eastern Palace die set
The Tranquil Tide is such a soothing color and it pairs beautifully with Dapper Denim. The sentiments in this set make it pretty versatile and the font used is just beautiful.

Instructions:
I began with a standard card base of Tranquil Tide cut 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25". I layered a piece of the Eastern Palace DSP cut 5.25" x 4" and a second piece of Tranquil Tide cut 4.25" x 2.375" (2 3/8"), Very Vanilla 4.125" x 2.25" and a second piece of DSP cut 4" x 2.125".
I then cut a piece of Tranquil Tide using the flower shaped die (this die does a partial cut, so I then used a circle framelit to fully cut it away from the cardstock and the removed the remaining paper from between the "petals". I stamped the sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto scrap Very Vanilla and the dotted circle image with Dapper Denim ink and punched it out using the 2" circle punch and adhered it to the "flower" and attached this to the card using dimensionals.
Let me know your thoughts about this card. I would love to hear them, so please leave a comment below and I will be back soon with more sneak peeks into the awesome new catalog!
Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Sale-A-Bration 2017 Coming to a Close

Happy Thursday friends! I wanted to remind you that we are in the final hours of Sale-a-bration 2017! Can you believe it? I can't that's for sure. It kind of makes me sad in a way because I LOVE the product selection we had for free for every $50 spent. And I don't know about you, but I don't think I have EVER placed an order for less than $50! So, Sale-a-bration is my time to "stock up" and get bonuses just for buying what I need! It also makes me sad when I think of those of you who missed the opportunity to take advantage of all of this cool and awesome stuff! So, that's why I am here to remind you that it's almost over so you won't miss out on these great deals. But, although the end of Sale-A-Bration makes me sad, I also start getting excited. What am I getting excited about you ask? Well, I am getting excited that the new Annual catalog will be revealed to us demonstrators in April! Those demonstrators that are able to attend the On Stage event will get the first look on April 6 or 8th, depending on if your going to Amsterdam or attending a local event, and the rest of us will see it April 10th. Then, when we place our fist demo pre-order in May, they will include our copy of the catalog. And I LOVE getting the new catalog because there is always something, or should I say MANY new things to get excited about. Stampin' Up! has never disappointed so I always look forward to the new catalog.
This brings me to my next PSA- joining SU! Sale-A-Bration is the PERFECT time to join! Not only do you get to select the normal $125 in product for just $99 +tax and and FREE shipping, but you also get to select 2 additional FREE stamp sets of your choice! There is NO dollar limit on the stamp sets you can choose! And if that wasn't awesome enough, you also get access to all of the demonstrator training, ideas and information, access to an exclusive Demonstrator website/usergroup filled with ideas and a wealth of information. You will  also receive the quarterly Demonstrator Magazine filled with ideas, patterns, and business training. You will get access to the new up coming catalog on April 10th and you will be able to pre-order select items from said catalog in May! And, for joining my team, you will also get access to my Demo Facebook group, "Inky Fingers, Warm Hearts" where you will receive updates and training and other fun things to come. And the best part, there is NO obligation beyond taking advantage of grabbing the starter kit! There isn't any SU! police, calling you to tell you you need to sell or buy, so YOU get to decide how and even if you want a business, or just buy at a discount or just get the kit and call it a day. No matter what, you have $125 in amazing product and access to amazing resources for at least 3 months for $99. If you choose to not sell, or not buy to maintain demonstrator status, after the 3 months, you will lose your access to the demo resources, however, you will still have amazing product in your hands! Something to think about! And if you choose to take advantage of this opportunity, just click "join my team" in the bar up above. In the meantime, happy stamping!

More from the Make-a-Medallion Stamp Set

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone! I really hope you enjoyed last weeks blog hop. I know it wasn't as many of us in it this time as usual, however, many demonstrators are getting ready to head out to the Stampin' Up! event, On Stage. Unfortunately, I'm not able to go this time around...I'm hoping for next time though in November. We'll see, it's always a goal but life has a way of getting in the way some times. This time, it's the real job as the Clinical Informatics nurse, we are going live with our updated documentation system so I need to be here. But that's life, but I think that's why our numbers for the hop where lower because they're busy packing and getting everything caught up so they can be away for a few days. But, I will still be here and I have a great project for you using this awesome Sale-a-bration set, Make a Medallion. I am so LOVING this stamp set. This is one that will remain in my arsenal for years to come!
This time, I paired the soon to be retiring In-Color, Mint Macaron with Island Indigo. I love these colors together. I heat embossed the Thanks sentiment from the stamp set using White embossing powder and Versamark ink, trimmed it down and bannered the ends with my paper snips and popped it up on a dimensional. I fussy cut the Medallion out and layered it onto a Island Indigo circle cut with the 2nd to the larges Stitched Shapes circle die and adhered with dimensionals to the Crumb Cake Banner. The Mint Macaron layer is dry embossed with the Large Polka Dots embossing folder and layered onto a piece of Island Indigo and that is also popped up with dimensionals after wrapping it with Thick White Bakers Twine.
This card was another fun one to make and encourage you to play with this stamp set and try different color combinations, the options are endless.
Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what color combinations you have tried, I would love to hear! Have a great day and happy stamping,
Katrina

Sweet Treats with the Cool Treats Bundle

Hello there! Wow, we are in the midst of a deep freeze here in CNY. Today isn't as bad as the weekend though, so I am grateful for that. I think Saturday and Sunday were the coldest we've been all winter long...brrrrr! I did a Spring Craft Fair Saturday and unfortunately there was very little traffic and I'm sure it was because it was so COLD.
Anyway, today I have a really cute card to share with you that I actually CASED from the Occasions catalog. What does CASED mean you ask? Well, it means, Copy and Share Everything! You see, in Paper Crafting, it's encouraged as long as you give credit where credit is due and never claim someone else's work as your own. As long as you do that, copy away. So, today, I recreated a Stampin' Up! design team design straight from the pages of the catalog. What a wealth of great ideas! So here it is:
I had so much fun creating this card and I think it will make a great birthday for someone special, especially someone who loves ice cream. Now, who doesn't just love ice cream?
Directions:
Standard Card base of Whisper White 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4". Adhere a piece of the DSP cut 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" to the front. Cut a piece of Whisper White with the larges Lots of Labels framelits and adhere to the front. Stamp a piece of Crumb Cake CS with Early Espresso ink with the "waffle cone" stamp and cut out using the coordinating framelit. Add a couple of strips of Washi. Then cut an ice cream scoop in each of the following colors: Soft Sky, Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach and Wild Wasabi. Stamp each scoop with the "sprinkles" stamp using the craft white ink and adhere with the ice cream cone to the the card using Dimensionals. Cut the "chocolate" from Early Espresso and the cherry from Watermelon Wonder and adhere. Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White, cut 1/2" x 4 1/4" with the Early Espresso ink and banner the ends with your paper snips. Add this to the front of the card using Dimensionals. Add a bow to the top front using the Thick White Bakers Twine and adhere with a glue dot.
I hope you enjoyed this card and I wish you all Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Sale-a-Bration: Why You Should Join My Team Now!

Hi all! Happy Thursday! I know I have said it time and time again but I only say it because I believe in it so much. Sale-a-Bration is THE most wonderful time of year! The benefits of Sale-a-Bration are just amazing and it doesn't matter if you're the happy shopper or the happy demonstrator there is so much to love about Sale-a-Bration.

But I have to tell you, it is absolutely the BEST time to join!
And here is why: In addition to the normal "design your own demo kit" by selecting $125 in product (anything you wish) for just $99 with FREE shipping, you now get to throw in not one, but TWO stamp sets of your choice! That's ANY TWO stamp sets you choose!  There isn't a dollar limit on what you can choose! Now, here is the real kicker...there is absolutely NO OBLIGATION! Once you purchase your starter kit at such an AMAZING value....you aren't obligated to do a single thing with it! There is no one that is going to call you and demand you sell stamps, no one pressuring you to be a sales person. It is totally up to you! Now, don't get me wrong, there is definitely perks for maintaining your demonstratorship, but it's not required. If you do choose to continue, you will make/save 20% on all of your sales/orders. Now, tell me, who doesn't love a good discount? You get "sneak peaks" into up coming catalogs along with the opportunity to pre-order before anyone else even gets to see the inside of the catalog. You can attend exclusive Strampin' Up! demonstrator events and you can even earn incentive trips (this year everyone is working toward earning Alaska - oh how I yearn to earn Alaska!) And, you get access to an exclusive Demonstrator quarterly publication, Stampin' Success full of business tips, crafting ideas and so much more. There is also the weekly email, Succeed Weekly also full of great information. And then there is the personal side of the "business", the amazing relationships you forge when you come together with others that love the craft as much as you do. And those relationships are those formed with other demonstrators as well as your customers. You become a great big extended family. That to me, has become the biggest perk of all. I love and appreciate everyone of my customers and I love to share ideas with them, I love to encourage creativity in others. If any of this even remotely sounds like fun to you, then seriously, consider joining my team. Just use the tab up above and follow the link. Easy Peasy, I would love to have you join me.
In the meantime, Happy stamping,

Sealed with a Kiss!

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! I hope you are all enjoying your day. I am having a very productive day, not so much in the craft room, but around the house. I actually have my laundry done...and that includes my ironing! I know, it probably sounds pretty silly to some of you, but you see, I hate laundry and I especially HATE ironing! Most of the time, I procrastinate my ironing until the basket can't hold any more and I'm forced to get it done...but I only had about 5 articles of clothing that needed ironing and I decided to just git r' done! And it actually looks pretty spiffy around here. My other BIG accomplishment today, was getting all of my business receipts from 2016 in order. I did really good until August, then well, procrastination bit and they started piling up. But, I'm back on track and my 2017 New Year resolution is to stay organized in my business and around the house. That is the other thing I hate....disorganization. It makes me crazy. So, for my own sanity, this is my resolution. Lets see how well I do!

Anyhoo, I have a cute card for you today. I actually did this for the sketch challenge over on my FB page, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out. I just love this stamp set!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Sealed with Love
Paper: Whisper White 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded 4 1/4"; Real Red 4" x 5 1/4"; Falling in Love DSP 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" cut off 2" for the bottom piece and trim off 1/4" from the top piece; scrap Whisper White for the stamped image and 1" piece for the banner; scrap DSP 1" wide for banner and scrap Real Red 1" wide for banner
Ink: Real Red
Misc: Sending Love Ribbon pack; Banner Triple Punch; Big Shot; Stitched Shapes Framelits; Fast Fuse; Stampin' Dimensionals.

Directions:
Adhere DSP pieces to Real Red, leaving a 1/4" gap between them. Wrap with ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon pack and tie into a bow. Adhere this all down to the card base. Next, stamp the Sealed with a Kiss sentiment onto scrap Whisper White and stamp the lip image all in Real Red ink. Run this through the Big Shot with the largest circle framelit in the Stitched Shapes Framelit collection. Adhere this to the top of the card with a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally, banner one end of the 1" scrap pieces of cardstock, and trim them to stagger in length and adhere them down using Fast Fuse even with the top of the bottom DSP layer.

Yes, it was that quick and easy! Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look. Please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts. Have a great rest of you day and Happy Stamping,
Katrina
