Fun Folds featuring Fitting Florets Collection

Fitting Florets Header

Hey friends
I know this is my second post for the day, but I'm trying to play catch up this week, so watch for one more tomorrow to bring me up to day, and the final card on Friday.

This whole week I am focusing on the beautiful Fitting Floret's Collection by Stampin' Up! I LOVE this collection of product. But the thing is, you need to act fairly fast to get the additional stamp set and the gorgeous DSP. Those are only available for a limited time only.

So today's card is a fun fold I found and wanted to try. This one is SO Cool.

So, for this card...I got a little over zealous during my FB Live and trimmed my card- totally messing up the sizing...So, I'm going to give you all the measurements HERE! So for those of you watching, my apologies, but follow these directions.

Night of Navy Card panel 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"; large enough scrap to die cut Oval shape
Basic White 4-1/8" x 11" Scored at 2-3/4" turn to the other end and score at 2-7/8" and scrap for stamping
Balmy Blue large enough to cut Oval frame
Fitting Florets DSP cut 2-1/2" x 4" and 2-3/4" x 4"

And that's all there is to it. Really not a difficult fun fold as long as  you stick to the plan and don't try to change things up without thinking the WHOLE thing through lol. I guess this falls under the, "do as I say, not as I do" category lol.

Anyhoo, I hope you'll give it a try. I would love to see your results. Be sure to post them over in the VIP for all to see and ooh and aah...it's a thing over there.

Happy Stamping!

Trimming the Tree Fun Fold

Trimming the Tree Fun Fold

Hello my friends!
This week I am still featuring the Perfect Pari Bundles. Trimming the Tree is the next one up and today, is a fun fold. This fun fold uses a standard card base and is scored in such a way that it fits in a standard card envelope.
The back of the card acts as the "inside" for stamping and writing your greeting/message as seen here in the photo below.

To create this fun fold you will need to score each end of your card base at 2" and 3-1/8". The inside and outside "centers" of this card (Basic White panel and DSP panel) measure 2" x 5-1/4" and the 2 end DSP panels measure 1-3/4" 5-1/4". The best part about this fun fold is that it's easy for the recipient to display their special handmade card!

This Birthday Piggy Flip Up Fun Fold

Hello my friends! First, I'd like to thank those of you that came over to YouTube to watch my Live Stream. I'm so happy that it worked so smoothly unlike my Facebook Lives that keep glitching and freezing. So thank you! That was fun, and we will definitely do it again.

Wanna catch the replay?

Anyhoo, I love this layout/fun fold. It's not only easy, but it looks great and This Birthday Piggy set works perfectly with it.

To color this image, I again pulled out my Watercolor Pencils Assortment2 and my Blender Pens. I LOVE the blending that I get with these two coloring tools together. During my last Facebook Live, we decided our Piggy's name was Wilbur and Wilbur looks GREAT in Flirty Flamingo pencil, don't you think? What is your go to coloring tools? Is it the Watercolor Pencils? Stampin' Blends? Watercolor with your ink pads or re-inkers? I'd love to know. Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite way to color your images?

Don't forget to grab your FREE downloadable PDF with all the measurements!

Happy Stamping.

More Perfect Partners - This Birthday Piggy

Perfect Partners
Hello friends!

Happy Labor Day! Here in the states, today is a national holiday to celebrate the hard working folks that keep our industries going. It also marks the end of Summer, which is always sad to see go. We had a low key day here. It's one of those rare occasions that both hubby and I were off together, unfortunately, he worked a 16 hour shift last night so didn't get home until this morning. He's been doing a lot of those lately. Apparently, the department of corrections is short staffed these days. So the guys there are having to pick up the slack. Poor hubby is napping as I type this, trying to get as much sleep as he can before it starts all over again tomorrow.

Anyhoo, this week I am focusing on another of the Perfect Partners bundles, This Birthday Piggy! OH MY GOSH! These guys are too cute for words. Of course, I love piggies anyway...I have a small collection of stuffed and ceramic/porcelain piggies all around the house.

This Birthday Piggy fun fold

This card is a really simple fun fold (you can watch the FB Live replay here)
It features a couple of different techniques, water coloring and ink blending. If your a fan of the piggies, then this bundle is for you. Just remember, these coordinating dies are only available for September.
