3 Simple & Beautiful Cards with the Lovely Arrangements Bundle

Sometimes you just want to sit down, stamp, and not overthink it—and that’s exactly what today’s projects are all about.

This week on Stampin’ Sundays, I shared three simple but beautiful cards using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and coordinating Designer Series Paper. These are the kind of cards that look polished and thoughtful without requiring hours at your craft table (or a ton of brainpower—because let’s be honest, some days we’re tapped out).

Let’s take a closer look at each one and why this bundle is such a winner.

Card #1: Sending Smiles (with Texture + Dimension)

This card is a great example of how designer paper can do the heavy lifting.

The floral panel was fussy cut from the Lovely Arrangements DSP (yes, I know how I feel about fussy cutting—but this one was totally worth it). Layered over a die-cut textured panel, it creates instant depth and interest without adding bulk.

Why I love this design:

  • The die-cut background adds subtle texture

  • Dimensionals give just enough lift

  • “Sending Smiles” works for so many occasions

This is a perfect “thinking of you,” encouragement, or happy mail card to keep on hand.

Card #2: Soft & Elegant Happy Birthday

If you love clean, calm, and classy, this one’s for you.

The Lovely Stripes embossing folder adds just the right amount of detail, while the soft ribbon and layered florals keep things light and elegant. This is one of those cards that feels special without being fussy.

Design highlights:

  • Embossed panel for texture

  • Soft ribbon detail (ties beautifully, even though it’s wider)

  • Simple floral stamping with coordinating dies

This layout would be easy to recreate in other colors for weddings, anniversaries, or sympathy cards too.

Card #3: Hello Friend (Scraps to the Rescue!)

This card might be my favorite because it’s scrap-friendly and fast.

The 2" x 2" DSP squares are turned on point and layered for a playful but modern look. It’s proof that you don’t need fancy techniques to make a card that feels intentional and finished.

Why this one works:

  • Great use of DSP scraps

  • Quick layout you can repeat again and again

  • Perfect everyday greeting card

If you’re trying to use what you already have, this design is gold.

Why the Lovely Arrangements Bundle Is So Versatile

This bundle checks all the boxes:

  • Florals that aren’t overly fussy

  • Sentiments that mix and match beautifully

  • Dies that add texture without overwhelming the design

And yes—a Class to Go featuring this bundle is coming very soon, created with my friend Cyndy. More details will be released this week, so keep an eye out if you’d like even more ideas using these products.

Quick & Easy Valentine Cards Using Love Notes DSP (No Stamps, No Ink!)

When You Want to Craft… But Not Think

Some weeks you want to create, not problem-solve. No complicated layouts. No ink blending. No “what sentiment do I even use?” moments.

This week’s Stampin’ Sunday projects are exactly that kind of crafting — quick, easy Valentine cards made almost entirely from paper. No stamps. No ink. Minimal supplies. Maximum cute.

If you’re short on time, energy, or creative brainpower, these cards are your new best friend.

The Star of the Show: Love Notes Designer Series Paper

The Love Notes 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper does all the heavy lifting here. Each sheet is double-sided with pre-designed sentiments, icons, and patterns that are ready to cut and go.

Why I love this pack:

  • Sentiments already printed (yes please)

  • Coordinating designs front and back

  • Perfect for mass-producing cards

  • Works for Valentine’s and everyday encouragement

Bonus: You get eight sheets of each design, so you can make a lot without running out fast.

Card #1: Be My Valentine

This card is a simple layered layout that lets the paper shine.

Why it works:

  • Full DSP coverage = no thinking

  • Offset panels add interest without effort

  • A popped-up sentiment gives instant dimension

Pro tip: Use any leftover strips on the inside of the card so nothing goes to waste.

Card #2: Happy Valentine’s Day

This design uses two 3" x 3" DSP squares layered at an angle for a modern look.

What makes it special:

  • Intersecting layers create movement

  • A vellum banner softens the sentiment

  • Rhinestones add just enough sparkle

If you wanted to change this up, swap the card base to Azure Afternoon for a bold color pop.

Card #3: Sending Hugs

This one might be my favorite — and it’s not just for Valentine’s Day.

Why this design is so versatile:

  • Works for encouragement, thinking-of-you, or sympathy

  • Tall sentiment panel draws the eye

  • Vellum layer adds softness without bulk

Honestly, “Sending Hugs” is a year-round card. We all need one of those on hand.

Bonus Card: You’re Amazing

Because sometimes the back side of the paper is just too good not to use.

This bonus card proves:

  • Valentine paper doesn’t have to be Valentine-only

  • Encouragement cards are always appreciated

  • Simple layouts let sentiments shine

Why These Cards Are Perfect for Busy Women

These projects are ideal if:

  • You’re new to cardmaking

  • You want fast results

  • You need multiple cards quickly

  • You don’t want to buy a ton of supplies

All you really need:

  • Love Notes DSP

  • Cardstock

  • Trimmer

  • Adhesive

  • A little bling ✨

That’s it.
