3 Beautiful Butterfly Cards You'll Love with the Stampin' Up! All Aflutter Bundle

If you've ever looked at a butterfly stamp set and thought, "It's pretty, but what else can I do with it?" then this week's projects are for you!

The All Aflutter Bundle proves that butterflies aren't just for spring—they're perfect for thinking of you cards, thank you cards, hello cards, birthdays, and so much more. This week I created three completely different cards using one adorable punch bundle, including a fun fold that's easier than it looks!

Whether you're just getting started or you've been stamping for years, I hope these ideas inspire you to pull out your patterned paper and start creating.

Card #1: A Stand-Up Arches Fun Fold

My favorite card of the week has to be the stand-up arches card!

Using the Everyday Arches Dies and the beautiful Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper, this card creates a gorgeous dimensional display that stands on its own. It looks impressive sitting on a desk or mantel, yet it's surprisingly simple to assemble once you know the scoring trick.

One thing I love about this design is that you can leave the back open to write your message or add another Basic White arch for a polished finish.

Sometimes those "wow" cards are much easier than they first appear!

Card #2: Create a Modern Look with Angled Paper Cuts

Have you ever wanted a card that looks fancy without requiring complicated measurements?

This angled panel card is exactly that.

Instead of measuring several individual pieces, I stacked my cardstock and Designer Series Paper together and cut them all at the same time. When you put the pieces back together like a puzzle, everything fits perfectly.

It's one of those techniques that gives every card a unique look because no two cuts will ever be exactly the same—and that's part of the charm!

To finish it off, I added stamped butterflies and a few embellishments for just the right amount of dimension.

Card #3: Sometimes Simple Really Is Best

Not every handmade card has to be elaborate.

This final card is proof that beautiful Designer Series Paper can do most of the work for you.

The flocked Velvet Meadow paper adds gorgeous texture without any extra effort. By simply shifting the patterned paper slightly to one side instead of centering it, the entire layout feels fresh and modern.

Add a layered sentiment, three punched butterflies, and a little sparkle, and you have a card that's quick enough to make several at once.

Perfect for thank you cards, encouragement cards, or simply building your card stash.

Why I Love the All Aflutter Bundle

One of my favorite things about this bundle is its versatility.

The coordinating punch makes creating butterflies fast and easy—no fussy cutting required. You can:

  • Stamp detailed butterflies or quick all-in-one images
  • Color them with Stampin' Blends or simply stamp and punch
  • Layer them for extra dimension
  • Use them on elegant, whimsical, or everyday cards
  • Pair them with almost any Designer Series Paper

If you're someone who enjoys making cards for lots of different occasions, this bundle gives you plenty of options.

Your Turn!

Which card is your favorite this week?

  • The stand-up arch fun fold?
  • The angled paper design?
  • Or the quick and simple floral card?

I'd love to hear which one you'd make first!

3 Quick & Easy Cards with the Scalloped Wishes Bundle (Including 2 Fun Folds!)

If you’ve ever sat down to make a card and thought, “I want something pretty… but I don’t want to overthink it,” this one’s for you.

This week during Stampin’ Sunday, I pulled out the Scalloped Wishes Bundle and created three cards that are simple, beautiful, and just a little extra special—without being complicated. And yes… two of them are fun folds that look fancy but come together way easier than you’d expect.

Let’s break it down 👇

Why the Scalloped Wishes Bundle is a Must-Have

I’ll be honest—I’ve used the dies from this bundle a lot already, but this week I really leaned into the stamps too… and WOW.

What makes this bundle so good:

  • The scalloped shapes instantly add elegance
  • The sentiments are versatile (graduation, encouragement, everyday cards)
  • It pairs beautifully with soft color palettes AND bold DSP

If you’re someone who wants your cards to look polished without a ton of effort… this is one of those “grab it again and again” bundles.

Card #1: Simple Fun Fold with a Big Impact

This first card is one of those designs that looks impressive but is actually super beginner-friendly.

Why it works:

  • Clean layout with layered DSP
  • A soft color combo (Balmy Blue + Secret Sea)
  • That delicate dragonfly detail with vellum wings 😍

The trick here is keeping all your adhesive on just one panel so the fold still works. That’s it.

👉 This is a perfect “confidence builder” card if you’ve never tried a fun fold before.

Card #2: Easy Diamond Fold (Perfect for Special Occasions)

Okay… this one might be my favorite.

It’s a diamond fold card, but don’t let that scare you—it’s basically a couple score lines and two angled cuts.

What makes it special:

  • The angled front creates that wow factor
  • Dragonflies + cattails give it a soft, nature-inspired feel
  • A little Wink of Stella adds just enough sparkle

This one is ideal for:

  • Graduations
  • Celebrations
  • “Something a little extra” moments

And bonus—you can totally switch the sentiment and use this layout for just about anything.

Card #3: Classic & Pretty (Because Simple Still Matters)

We wrapped up with a good old classic card—and honestly, don’t sleep on these.

Color combo: Bubble Bath + Strawberry Slush + Old Olive
Vibe: Soft, feminine, and clean

The scalloped oval frame does all the heavy lifting here. Add a few die-cut flowers and pearls, and you’re done.

👉 This is the kind of card you can batch make in multiples when you need something quick but still beautiful.

Paper & Products That Made These Shine

This week I used the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper, and it really carried these designs.

You’ve got:

  • Florals
  • Tone-on-tone patterns
  • Soft textures
  • Bold accents

It’s one of those packs where every piece just works—no overthinking required.

Don’t Miss This Month’s Paper Pumpkin

Quick heads up—April’s Paper Pumpkin kit “Lakeside Retreat” is open for subscription through April 10.

  • Masculine-themed (finally 🙌)
  • Coordinates with an upcoming suite
  • Makes 9 cards (3 designs)

If you struggle with cards for the men in your life… this is a good one to grab.

Want to Make These Cards Yourself?

I’ve got you covered.

No pausing replays. No guessing measurements. Just print and create.

Final Thoughts (and a Little Encouragement 💕)

If you’ve been feeling like you don’t have time… or you’re not “creative enough”… I want you to try one of these.

Start simple. Start messy. Just start.

Because the truth is—these little creative moments?
They matter more than we give them credit for.

👉 Tell me in the comments:
Which card is your favorite—the fun fold or the classic?

And if you make one, save this post so you can come back to it later!

3 Easy Card Ideas Using the Good Luck Stamp Set (Including a Fun Fold!)

Some weeks call for complicated techniques and layers on layers… and some weeks just call for cute, quick, and confidence-boosting cards. This week’s Stampin’ Sunday was definitely the second kind—and honestly, I think we all need more of those.

I featured the Good Luck stamp set and created three easy cards that come together fast, look polished, and work for lots of occasions. One of them is even a simple fun fold that looks fancy but is totally beginner-friendly.

If you’re short on time, crafting mojo, or patience (no judgment here 😉), these ideas are for you.

Card #1: “You’re Gold” (Simple With Texture)

This first card is all about clean layers and texture. The pot of gold image does the heavy lifting, while the background adds interest without overwhelming the design.

Why I love this card:

  • The embossed panel adds instant texture with zero extra effort

  • Fussy cutting is minimal and totally manageable

  • Works great for encouragement, congratulations, or appreciation

This is one of those designs you can mass-produce without getting bored.

Card #2: “Good Luck” (Quick & Classic)

This card is fast, cheerful, and perfect when you need a go-to good luck card on hand.

Key design elements:

  • Designer Series Paper does most of the work

  • A simple sentiment strip layered over ribbon adds dimension

  • Repeating horseshoes keep the layout balanced and playful

If you’re someone who likes having a stack of ready-made cards in your stash, this one’s a winner.

Card #3: “Lucky to Be Friends” (Easy Double Gatefold)

Let’s talk about the fun fold—because this one looks impressive but is surprisingly easy.

This double gatefold card opens beautifully and gives you extra space to decorate without making things complicated.

Why this fun fold works:

  • Straight scoring (no fancy measuring tricks)

  • Panels make it perfect for patterned paper

  • Opens flat for mailing—always a bonus

If fun folds usually intimidate you, this is a great place to start.

A Note on Color Choices

All of the colors for these cards came straight from the Designer Series Paper color lists. If you ever feel stuck choosing colors, this is your permission slip to let the paper do the thinking for you.

Less stress. Better results.
