Pocketful of Sunshine Gift Card/Cash Holder

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! Well, I'm over the moon excited! I've officially registered for my very first Stampin' Up! OnStage event for November! Ready or not Orlando, here I come! (Make sure you're following my FB Business Page because I will be sharing as much as I will be allowed to share.
In the meantime, I have a fun card to share with you. I actually did this card during a FB Live this past Sunday. It's a fun card and is perfect for sending those new college bound students off with a gift card or a little "pocket cash"!
I am really falling in love with this new Balmy Blue. It pairs beautifully with Night of Navy and the Daffodil Delight as you can see here. I think this card really pops with these pretty colors.
To recreate this card, you will need the product listed below. Everything is linked to my online store to make your shopping experience easier.

Measurements:

Night of Navy card base: 4.25" x 11" scored at 5.5" and 2.75"
In Color 2018-2020 DSP: 4" x 5.25"
Balmy Blue: 4" x 4" to cut out the pocket shaper
Whisper White: Large enough to die cut the largest layering shape from the Stitched Seasons dies
Daffodil Delight: Large enough to die cut the largest layering shape from the Stitched Seasons dies

Assembly:

Begin by running the Balmy Blue through the Big Shot with the Pocket die set and run the Whisper White and Daffodil Delight pieces through the Big shot with the largest layering die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits. Fold over the Night of Navy with the first score line to make a standard card base. then, fold back on the second score line creating the Z Fold. Adhere the Daffodil Delight die cut to the outside flap. Add the DSP to the inside of the card base and layer the Whisper White die cut on top, taking care to line it up with the Daffodil Delight to hide it on the inside.

Next, stamp the "stitching" onto the pocket with Sahara Sand ink and the the sentiment using Night of Navy ink. Add adhesive, preferably Tear & Tape to the pocket tabs and adhere to the card front. Add rhinestones to the corners of the stitching and that will complete your gift card/cash holder.

I hope this card inspires you to give it a try. It was a lot of fun to play with and was so quick and easy. Go ahead, grab your supplies and give it a try. If you would like step by step video instructions, visit my YouTube channel where I uploaded my FB Live session and you will be able to follow along while I make this card. And while you're there, please take a minute to follow my channel, I would greatly appreciate that.
