Another Season Like Christmas

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Wow, what a day it's been! We did a computer program upgrade at the hospital I work at for our patient documentation system! Can we say STRESSFUL with a capital S? What a process that is. Not to bore you but to give you just a little tiny glimmer, we had to shut the entire system down last night at 11pm, which meant getting every on duty hospital employee off the system once they "saved" their work. Then lock them out so no one could "sneak" back in and get them all onto the old fashioned paper documentation....this is where I chuckle, because I remember when we transitioned from paper medical records to electronic medical records approximately 11 years ago, and oh the moaning and groaning! Well now you should hear the moaning and groaning now when they have to go back to paper temporarily! You'd swear we were purposefully trying to make their lives miserable lol!Anyway, to make a long story short, we completed the upgrade about 5.5 hours ahead of schedule. Then we had to deal with the aftermath...that was the hardest part of all of this. But, on a good note, last night I had an amazing time with the ladies at the Williamstown Library last evening for our first class their. Now, tomorrow night is our class at LaRoma's Restaurant in Camden NY. I am so looking forward to it and here is one of the cards that we will be doing.

I love this Season Like Christmas stamp set. I think this tree is just beautiful and with the 3 step stamping has a 3D look.  The card base is Garden Green cut 5.5" x 8.5" scored and folded 4.25"; the DSP is cut 2.5" x 5.25" and Whisper White banner cut 2" x 5.25". I stamped the 1st tree layer in Pear Pizzazz, the tree trunk in Early Espresso and the 2nd tree layer in Garden Green. I added "snow" beneath the tree with Smoky Slate and stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and bannered the end with the Banner Triple Punch and wrapped the gold ribbon and tied a bow. I added the DSP and the banner to the card base to complete the card. To recreate the this card, you will need the materials below. I would love to see what you're creating so I invite you to join me on my FB page and if you would like to be in the know of specials, promotions and all the fun, join my mailing list here
