Let's Get Abstract!

 Hey friends, 

I'm totally late in getting this card posted here. Time keeps getting away from me and this time change! Ugh! Anyone else struggling with this crazy stuff? I'm ready for bed by 5:30 in the evening...I mean seriously struggling to keep my eyes open...It's dark, so my peepers think it's bed time!

Anyhoo, this card features the half circle die and some of the gorgeous DSP from the Splendid Day collection in a very abstract layout. The foils in this DSP is gorgeous. My camera just can't seem to capture just how beautiful it is.

Add a Brick Wall Background to your card

Wow! Can you believe it's Thursday already? And November no less? Anyhoo, I have another card featuring the Splendid Day Suite from the July to December Mini catalog. 

This one features a fun Brick Background. This was the second card I featured during my Facebook/YouTube Live Sunday. After running the Calypso Coral CS through my "Big Boss" with the 3D Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder, I used a Blending Brush and Craft White ink to "distress" a few of the bricks before wrapping with the Soft Sea Foam ribbon and adhered it to the card base. Then it was layering all of the remaining elements.

Create a Fun Background with Stampin' Blends Markers

 Hello and Happy Hump Day my friends! 

Today I want to share with you a card I made during my Facebook/ YouTube Live. This was the first card we made during that episode, and it features a really pretty background created using Stampin' Blends.

Here I used the Light and Dark Pool Party and the Light and Dark Fresh Freesia. It really doesn't get any easier than that. I literally scribbled some color onto the Basic White panel, keeping the dark shades in the center, stamped a couple of bees in Fresh Freesia and Pool Party and added a sentiment from the stamp set. The softness of the colors really make this a wow card with ZERO effort.

Splendid Foils

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to highlight the gorgeous 12" x 12" Splendid Day DSP. This paper is absolutely GORGEOUS! One side is a beautiful foil in soft colors and patterns, the reverse side is soft colors with tone on tone patterns. 

I will say, this card was extremely difficult to photograph to get good images because of the shiny foil, so I do apologize that I am not able to capture just how beautiful this card is...but trust me it is...and it's all because of the DSP. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment and I LOVE that 1/2 circle/wedge die, don't you?
