RemARKable Ink Big Blog Hop - Valentines!

Happy Sunday and welcome to the Remarkable Ink Big Blog Hop! This month our theme is Valentines! You may just be starting out on the hop, here with me, Katrina Wolfe at Katrina's Kreative Heart or you may have come from the person before me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup is below and will help you move along the hop from blog to blog so you won't miss any of the amazing projects along the way. Again, you are on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart, with me, Katrina Wolfe.
Today, I have another project using the amazing Sure Do Love You bundle paired up with Heart Happiness stamp set found in the 2018 Occasions catalog. I just LOVE these products as they pair together flawlessly. And when I saw the "watercolor" looking striped heart in the Heart Happiness stamp set, my first thought was "baby wipe" technique so, I finally decided to give it a try, and here are the results!
I used Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral re-inkers on a makeshift ink pad made from Baby Wipes and I love the effect. You could do any combination of colors you wish. I chose mine based on the colors found in the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here is the finished card:
I hope you are inspired to pull out your re-inkers and some Baby Wipes and see what cool color combinations you can come up with to tell someone special how much you love them!
Thanks so much for taking part in our bog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you won't want to miss. Remember, you're currently on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart with Katrina Wolfe, so check the blog hop lineup below to see who is next in the list.
Happy Hopping,

Sunshine and Rainbows -Another Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Once again, it's bitter cold here and of course the snow is falling...nothing new here. But, it sure does make hanging out in the craft room a lot of fun, because, well what else could one do on a day like this?
Today, I want to share another fun bundle from the Occasions catalog with you. It's called Sunshin and Rainbows and this is such a fun set with  lot of options built into it, such as you can stamp each color of the rainbow and cut them out or you can do like I did and just cut out the colored cardstock using scraps from my stash to build your rainbow that way. Then there are the individual clouds like the ones I used here and then there is also the large layering border clouds to build a cloudy scene.

Measurements:

Soft Sky Cardstock: 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25"
Elegant Eggplant Cardstock: 2" x 3.25"; scrap for last piece in the rainbow
Whisper White Cardstock: 4" x 2.5"; scraps for the clouds
Scraps of Real Red; Pumpkin Pie; Daffodil Delight; Garden Green; Dapper Denim

Directions:

Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner of the Whisper White and layer the Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White onto the cardbase with adhesive of choice. Run each piece of the scraps through the Big Shot with the rainbow dies in the order of ROYGBV and adhere them in the same order onto the center of the Whisper White. Cut out 2 clouds and adhere to each end of the rainbow with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I hope you enjoyed this simple card. In spite of piecing each individual color of the rainbow, this card goes together very quickly and was a lot of fun to do. I hope it inspires you to pull your set out and play with it. I would love to see what you do with it and I invite you to join my Facebook page, and share your creations with us. We LOVE to ooh and ahhh over each others creations.

RemArkably Created Blog Hop: Bundle Up! With the Sure Do Love You Bundle

Hello and welcome to this months RemARKably Created blog hop. This month our theme is Bundle Up as we are featuring some amazing bundles from the new 2018 Spring Occasions catalog. Currently, you are visiting my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart, with me, Katrina Wolfe. Below, you will find  the full line up with links to each of the blogs in the hop. Use these links to move from blog to blog so you won't miss any of the amazing projects and inspiration.
Today, I want to share with you one of my all time favorite bundles in the catalog, Sure Do Love You. I am just in love with this entire suite and this stamp and die set are just awesome.

These boxes are so easy to make using the Lots to Love Box Framelits dies and can be used for so many things, such as a treat box filled with sweet treats (Sweet Tarts come to mind) but I really love them for holding the brand new Narrow Note Cards!
To create this cute little box, I used a sheet of Whisper White cardstock and cut it in half. I ran each half through the Big Shot with the box die and put the box together. I have a video below to show you how. I then cut 2 pieces of designer series paper, from the Painted with Love collection, 4-5/8" x 2-3/4" and adhered one to each side of the box. I then cut out a Melon Mambo heart from the Lots to Love Box die set and stamped the sentiment on to a piece of Powder Pink cardstock and cut that out with the same heart die. I layered the 2 hearts together and added some of the gold Love Mini Tinsel Trim and adhered them all to the front of the box with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the note card, I started with a Whisper White Narrow Note Card and cut a piece of the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper 2-1/4" x 4-1/4". I then cut out a heart from Powder Pink cardstock using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and added it to the center of the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then stamped the banner image with Melon Mambo ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits dies. I added the banner over the center of the heart with Stampin' Dimensionals, and these adorable little Valentine's fit perfectly into the box and would make a great little gift to share with someone special.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are feeling inspired by all of the amazing projects in the blog hop.
