Leaves of Holly Elegance Meets Easy

Leaves of Holly

 Hello friends,

Sorry for going missing these past few days, but time has a way of getting away. I am still dealing with the aftermath of hitting a cow. I had to return my rental as my time had run out but I still don't have my car back yet, so lucky for me, I have an amazing team that I work with in the Nursing Home so I am able to work remotely from home...but the bright spot in ALL of that messiness, I got a new internet provider and OMG! I knew my old internet was slow, but it turns out it was snail slow! My new internet is actually BLAZING fast! It's so cool!

Anyhoo, this card features the Leaves of Holly bundle from the July to December Mini Catalog. I love this bundle as it creates such elegant cards with minimal effort. This particular card was inspired by a catalog sample. Where do you find your inspiration?

Christmas Scottie Gingham Style

Christmas Scottie Gingham with Enamel Effects

Hey friends,

I told you I am totally in love with the Christmas Scottie bundle. Well, here is yet another fun card featuring this bundle. I seriously can't get enough of it. Maybe it's my love of dogs? But this bundle seriously speaks to me! I mean seriously....look how stinkin' sweet he/she is all dressed in gingham! Then of course I went mad with the Pearlized Enamel Effects! I mean come ON! These are so cool! You can seriously make your own pearls in Real Red, Black and White! You get ALL 3 colors! And once they dry...they are on there for good! They really are amazing. So, yeah, I'm in LOVE! Shhhhh, don't tell Tucker!

Coming November 1st, Snowflake Showcase

Hello, happy Thursday and welcome to my blog! I am so excited to share with you a brand new release coming November 1st for customers, called, Snowflake Showcase! To die for! And yes...there are dies! Gorgeous, beautiful amazing dies!
This showcase consists of 2 stamp sets, Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surrounds, a die set, Snowfall Thinlits (consists of 20 dies, the largest snowflake measuring 3.25"), Snowflake trinkets and the most beautiful 12" x 12" White velvet paper!
I've enjoyed playing with this showcase and today I want to share with you just one of the designs using the largest snowflake thinlit.
To re-create this card, I used a card base made from thick Whisper White cardstock, measuring 4.25" x 11" scored and folded at 5.5" for a top folding card. I then cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock,4" x 5.25" and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, Feathers and Frost, using Cherry Cobbler ink. I attached that to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then cut a 4" square from the White Velvet sheets and ran it through the Big Shot with the largest snowflake die from the Snowfall thinlits collection. I attached the snowflake to the center of the card using a Stampin' Dimensional and added a Basic Rhinestone to the center.
This was a quick and simple card to make and uses only a few supplies. This would be a simple card to mass produce  as well. I hope you enjoyed this and are looking forward to this release as much as I am and should you REALLY want this and don't want to wait until November, this would be a perfect time to join my team! You could add this set to your starter kit as part of your $125 in product for just $99 + tax and enjoy FREE shipping! As always, the starter kit is the best deal in the catalog. Stampin' Up!'s Merry Little Labels

Hello and Happy Thursday! Well, it's beginning to look like Christmas around here. Over the last several days we got clobbered with several inches of snow, actually more like a couple of feet of it. But I guess that's to be expected when one lives in this part of NY State.
Anyway, I have a cute card to share with you that I will be doing with my card class this evening. I hope everyone likes it. It's cute but quick and simple.

Supplies and Measurements:

Merry Little Labels Stamp Set
Whisper White Cardstock: 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25"; scrap for stamped image
Christmas Around the World DSP: 2" x 5.5"
Foil Snowflake: Cut in half
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Every Day Label Punch
Fast Fuse
Stampin' Dimensionals

Directions:

Adhere the DSP to the card base using Fast Fuse or other adhesive of choice. Cut a Foil Snowflake in half and adhere over the DSP, lining up the cut edge with the edge of the DSP. Stamp the image from the Merry Little Labels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punch it out with the coordinating Everyday Label punch and adhere it to the card with a couple of Dimensionals.

I love this Designer Paper. I find it warm and inviting and just has a cozy feel to it. And it's currently still available, but for how long is anyone's guess. We are nearing the end of the Holiday catalog and everything is "while supplies last" right now except stamp set. Stamp sets will be in production until December 21st, then they too will be "while supplies last". So, if you want to get your hands on the gorgeous paper, don't wait. Just click the link below to grab this paper and stamp set.

Have a great day and stay warm. If you would like to receive my newsletter, click here to sign up.
