Geared Up Garage - Perfect for The Beginner Stamper, The Casual Stamper and the Avid Stamper

Hello and Happy Sale-a-bration! I'm baaaaaaack! I took some much needed time to focus on family and the holiday's, hence my missing in action for most of December, but now I am back to business as usual and I am so excited for Sale-a-bration and the new Occasions catalog. I am SO in love with these releases from Stampin' Up! I can't even put it into words. There is literally something that will appeal to everyone. If you don't have a catalog and you aren't currently working with another demonstrator, I would love to get a catalog into your hands, so please feel free to message me and let me know if you would like one. Trust me, you want one!

As you may recall, in November I attended OnStage Live, which is the Stampin' Up! convention in Orlando, Florida (it was UH-MAZING!) and one of the things we talked a great deal about was the 3 different stampers. The beginner stamper, who is just getting introduced to the fun of creating, but isn't ready to "jump head first" into investing a lot into their new found hobby. They aren't even 100% sure it's something they will do long term (little do they know how addicting it is ;) ). Then there is the casual stamper, they have fallen to the stamping bug, but don't think they have a lot of time to devote to it, but enjoy it enough that they will buy a few things that they know they can use over and over and then there is the rest of us, the avid stamper. We want it ALL, we love to stamp and make pretty things and we want layers and die cuts and embellishments oh my! It gets us all giddy just thinking about it. At OnStage, we were challenged to create cards that would appeal to all 3 stampers and so, I decided to take that challenge and this is what I came up with using this adorable Geared Up Garage bundle.
The first two cards are basic note cards and envelopes. They require no layers and are simple but cute. The first card would be for the beginner stamper. This card requires minimal investment of a package of note cards and envelopes, a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and the Geared Up Garage stamp set. The second card would be for the casual stamper as it is still a minimal investment with the addition of the Watercolor pencils to add color to the card. Then of course the third card is for our avid stamper, as it uses the Geared Up Garage bundle, the designer series paper, the Stitched Rectangle die set and Stampin' Blends markers.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and you see that stamping can be as simple as stamps ink and paper or as stepped up as you like. Have a great night and Happy Stamping,

Spirited Snowmen - Fun and Festive

Good Morning and TGIF! Wow, is it me or did November just fly by? It's been a bit of a whirl wind that's for sure. My trip to sunny Orlando just a few short weeks ago, on one hand seems like a life time ago, but on the other seems like it was just a couple of days ago. I know with this current non-stop snow we're getting here in the Northeast, I'm REALLY wishing I was back in sunny Orlando that's for sure!

Anyhoo, with the end of November here, so is the end of the gorgeous Snowflake Showcase suite of product! The gorgeous White Velveteen Sheets are already sold out, but at this movement everything else is still available, but it all goes away forever after midnight MT tonight! So, if you've been wanting it and holding off, now is NOT the time to hold off. Just sayin'.

Well today I have a cute card to share with you that I did for my tutorial co-op that I belong to with a group of other demonstrators. It's great, we each create one project and write up a tutorial then we have access to all of the tutorials to share with our customers and readers. It's a great time saver that's for sure. But anyhoo, this is the one I shared with the group and it's using the adorable, Spirited Snowmen stamp set. And recently, someone very observant pointed out that this stamp set is NOT Christmas specific and can be used ALL winter season! And that is SO true. None of the sentiments are specific to Christmas! And just by changing up the colors you could easily make this a Birthday card or any other winter occasions card....I'm even thinking Anniversary with the snow couple in this set! Yes, my 25th wedding anniversary is coming up December 18th, soooooo, we'll see! If I do choose this set, I will be sure to share the results with you. But anyway, I veered off topic here, so let's get to today's card.
Now isn't this little skater adorable? I just love him. Anyhoo, to recreate this card, you do need a few things, I started with a card base of Old Olive measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4". I layered a piece of DSP from the Mistletoe collection found in the Annual catalog that measures 4" x 5 1/4". I then cut a piece of Whisper White 3" x 4" and stamped the snowman and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in with my Stampin' Blends Markers The colors that I used are the Dark Crumbcake, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive Light and Dark, Real Red Light and Dark and Dark Smokey Slate. I then added a 1 1/2" x 4" piece of Real Red cardstock and tore the left edge off and attached to the left side of the Whisper White and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope today's card warmed you up. And remember, today is the last day to grab those beautiful snowflakes.

Happy Stamping,
