Saran Wrap Background with Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Thursday! Thanks so much for stopping by to hang out with me for a bit! I can't tell you how much I appreciate that and YOU! 

Today I want to share with you a card I made featuring the Saran Wrap background technique! You read that right! Saran Wrap! Yes, the very same stuff in your kitchen drawer!

Now, this gets pretty complicated...tear off a generous amount of wrap and wad it up into a ball. Mask off the left edge of your Whisper White card panel and pounce the wrap into the ink (I used Mint Macaron) and pounce it onto the card panel and pouncing back into the ink pad every 3rd or 4th time to pick up more ink, then remove the mask and voila! You have this amazing background!

Vibrant Vases with the Rubber Band Background

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I wanted to jump in this morning and share with you the last card from Sunday's Facebook Live session. This one was created using the Rubber Band Technique. This really is fun. You actually create this fun background using rubber bands!

Get all the measurements and the supply list in the downloadable PDF. I've had a lot of fun playing with the Vibrant Vases stamp set. It has proved it self to be very versatile as it works with many different folds and techniques such as the Rubber Band background. To achieve this fun background, mask off the right side of the card panel and sponge on the color, in this case, I used Coastal Cabana. Then wrap at least 3 different widths of rubber bands around an acrylic block and ink it up and stamp onto the sponged area. I did this several times to achieve the look I wanted. Then remove the post it mask. Then proceed as usual to create your card.

A Double Fun Fold Featuring the Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is off to a great start! Yesterday was your typical Monday where things get a little crazy but all in all, it wasn't bad, so I anticipate today will be terrific!

The design of this card is perfect for a group to present a recipient with LOTS of signatures and well wishes and it's a lot of fun to make. It's essentially a card within a card!

I'm really loving the Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape together. They just scream, HAPPY! And who doesn't love happy?

Twisted Gate Fold Featuring the Vibrant Vases

Hello and Happy Monday my friends! I'm so excited to have you stop by to see today's project which was also featured last night during my Facebook Live. If you didn't catch it, no problem, there's always replay. But, if you ever want to catch me live, stop by my Facebook page on Sunday evenings at 7 PM ET. We have lots of fun! Anyhoo, this card is so much fun to make and receive! It's a twisted gate fold and it is featuring my product pick for this week, Vibrant Vases.

I love how this card came together. It also features some of our shades of purple, including our new InColor, Purple Posy! Although, due to a quality control issue with the ink, this color pairs perfectly with Highland Heather (used here) as well as Gorgeous Grape and I just used my Purple Posy Stampin' Write Marker to stamp inside my flower petals using the huffing technique!
