Free As A Bird Fun Fold

Hello and Happy Tuesday to ya! Hubby is on vaca this week so it's been a busy few day's with him home. Next week we will both be on vaca from our day jobs and that will be a first in a VERY long time and boy will Tucker be one happy little puppy! He's a totally different little dog when both of his peeps are home with him. He has terrible separation anxiety the poor little bugger. He loves company, but he looses his mind when they're about to leave. We often wonder if he decides they are "his personal toys" because, trust me, he doesn't like you to touch "HIS" stuff! No, he's not "mean" in the sense that he bites, but he will "snatch" his toy's from you hand like "no, that's mine and don't TOUCH IT!" Good thing he's so stinkin' cute!
Anyway, today's card is from Sunday's Facebook Live featuring the Free As A Bird stamp set and I promised, dimensions and instructions would follow here. So, here they are so that you can recreate this card and the supply list can be found below. This card uses a fun fold fold. I'm not even sure what this fold is called, so if any of you out there know what fold this is, please let me know...inquiring minds want to know!
To begin, you will need a card base of Daffodil Delight cut 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 2 1/4" and 7". Fold and burnish your score lines and using the Layering Circles dies. Add a piece of Bird Ballad DSP measuring 2" x 4" to the top flap. Then,  I used the die that came closest to 2 1/2" and die cut it by centering it over the 2 1/4" fold line off to the right of the card. I then die cut another piece of scrap Daffodil Delight using the same die. I layered a piece of Bird Ballad DSP cut 4" x 3 3/4"on the outside panel created by the 7" fold and a piece of Whisper White cut the same size to the inside of the flap.
Die cut another circle in Petal Pink and stamp the single bird in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color the bird in with your Stampin' Blends, I used Soft Suede and Petal Pink with a little Daffodil Delight for his beak. Then die cut with the next smaller Layering Circle die. Stamp "Hello" from the stamp set using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layer all the circles together. Close up the card, add adhesive to the exposed area and adhere the die cut image. You now have a fun fold card.
I love coloring with my Blends, they are so easy to use and whether you're into blending or not, these markers make you look like you know what you're doing. So, don't shy away from them. The price point for them is amazing. If you check the Big Box stores for alcohol markers, they are as much as $7-$9 a marker on sale. Blends are $9 for the duo! Hellooooo? You can't beat that!
Well, I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thanks so much for stopping by to check it out and hang out with me. Be sure to stop by Thursday, I will have all the information on the Flip Fold card from Sunday then. Daisy Lane and Leftovers

Hello and Happy Rainy Thursday! Yes, it's raining once again here in CNY. No surprise there, right? Anyhoo, I have a really cute card to share with you today and basically, it uses up the leftovers I had from Tuesday's fun fold card! Yep, I used up my scraps to create this cute card and I love how it turned out.
Rococo Rose is quickly becoming my favorite new InColor although I really do love Pretty Peacock...but Rococo Rose....what can I say? It's just gorgeous!
To recreate this card, you will need:
Whisper White 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4"; 4" x 5 1/4" and scrap for the daisies.
2019-2021 DSP 2" x 4 3/4" (left over from Tuesday's card and flipped over)
Begin by adhering the DSP to the left side of the 4" x 5 1/4" panel. Stamp "Friend" in Memento Tuxedo Black to the bottom right of the DSP and adhere the panel to the card base. Next, using Rococo Rose ink, stamp a total of 6 small daisies and punch them out using the Medium Daisy punch. Then, using Daffodil Delight ink, stamp 3 additional daisies and using a 1/4" circle punch (retired) punch out the centers and attach to 3 of the Rococo Rose daisies using Glue Dots. Next, using your bone folder, gently curl the petals on all of the daisies. Personally, I curled the daisies that will be on the bottom upward and the daisies with the yellow centers downward for visual interest, but feel free to curl them anyway you wish and layer them with the petals off set using Glue Dots. I then placed the first daisy with a Glue Dot, the second with a Stampin' Dimensional and the 3rd I used 2 Stampin' Dimensionals stacked to add additional height.
It's looks so stinkin' cute!
I hope you enjoyed today's card. I absolutely adore this bundle and it needs to be on your must have list. You will find the links to all of the supplies that I used below and I thank you for stopping by to hang out with me.
Have a great evening and Happy Stamping,

Daisy Lane Fun Fold

Hello and Happy Tuesday evening my friends! It's a beautiful evening here in Central NY. I have my window open with a perfect breeze coming through, listening to the birds sing. With all of the rain and cool weather we've had, it sure is a welcome sight.
Anyway, I have a fun new card to share with you that I created Sunday during my Facebook Live. It's a fun fold using the fun and versatile stamp set, Daisy Lane. I love Daisies and this stamp set is no exception. And this new Medium Daisy Punch kicks it up a whole other notch and paired up with our original Daisy Punch, you're talking "knocks it out of the park" notch!
Daisy Lane Fun Fold
Daisy Lane Fun Fold
To create this card you will need:
Basic Black 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"; 6" x 5" scored at 3 3/4"
Rococo Rose 4" x 5 1/4"; 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
2019-2021 InColor DSP 2" x 4 3/4"
Whisper White scraps for Daisies and Stitched Ovals
To begin, die cut the largest oval from the Layering Ovals dies from the center of the 6" x 5" piece of Basic Black; then die cut the largest scalloped oval from the the 4" x 5 1/4" Rococo Rose panel and then layer the Rococo Rose onto the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Basic Black panel followed by the 6" x 5" panel of Basic Black and finally the 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Rococo Rose. Adhere the DSP to the front flap of the Basic Black piece, then die cut 2 of the largest stitched ovals from the Stitched Shapes dies collection and adhere one to the inside of the card. This is where you can write your message to the recipient. Next, you will stamp 2 of the largest daisies in Rococo Rose ink and 1 of the small daisies in the same. Punch them out and using your bone folder, gently curl your petals and layer them together so that their petals are off set from each other. I used Glue Dots to assemble my daisy. I then stamped the fern like leaf in Pear Pizzazz onto the stitched oval and added my daisy with a Stampin' Dimensional. Finally, I layered my ovals and adhered it to the front flap of the card, taking care to only adhere the left side so that the card will open freely. As a final touch, I added a fuzzy center using the Perennial Essence Flower Centers.
I hope you enjoyed today's card as much as I enjoyed sharing it. I love how the Rococo Rose looks with the Basic Black and this DSP is AWESOME! I can see myself using a LOT of this stuff, in all of the colors!
Have a great evening, go enjoy the gorgeous evening and thanks so much for stopping by to hang out with me for a bit.
Happy Stamping,

Above the Clouds Double Slider Card

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Thanks so much for stopping by. Today I have a really fun and interactive card for you. It's a double slider and it's SO easy to make. But first, I have to tell you, Saturday I held by catalog launch party, and OMG we had so much fun! It was everything I had hoped. I had a great turn out and we had LOTS of food (I'm still eating on left overs lol) games and prizes and LOTS of samples and displays and I'm hearing a lot of great feedback from attendee's so, I'm calling it a HUGE success. For those of you that did attend, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It truly was a labor of love and I can't thank you enough for the fun, the laughter and your friendship. You all mean the world to me. Thank you!

Now on to today's fun double slider card! To create this card, you will need to start with a card base measuring 5 1/2" x 8 3/8". I used Coastal Cabana as my card base. You will then score this with the long edge to the top at 1/4"; 3" and 5 3/4". Then, using the Classic Label punch, take a "snip" from the top and bottom of the panel created with the 5 3/4" score line. This is going to create the slider area.

Next, wrap a piece of plastic approximately 12" x 1 3/4" around the panel you created the 'notches' and using Tear & Tape, seal the plastic in a loop around the panel. It should nest inside the notches you punched with the Classic Label punch.

Now cut 2 panels of Coastal Cabana measuring 2 1/2" X 4 3/8" and 2 panels of Whisper White 2 5/16" x 4 3/16" and decorate with your stamps and ink. Now the image you want to rise to the top, add a couple of glue dots to the bottom front of the image panel and lay face down onto the plastic piece. Be sure the image is adhered only to the plastic loop and not the card base at all otherwise your image won't slide. Now, adhere the image that will slide down, to the front of the plastic loop with glue dots to just the top of the image on the back. Punch a hole in the bottom and tie a piece of ribbon to create a pull. Next add Tear & Tape down the 1/4 fold and adhere the card shut.
To complete the card, I added a piece of DSP to the front measuring 2 3/4" x  5 1/4" and stamped my Hot Air Balloon and punched it for the front.

I truly hope you enjoyed today's card. It was a lot of fun to make and I hope it inspires you to try it out as well. If you enjoy cards such as this, and would like tutorials direct to you inbox, then be sure to join my mailing list here.

Happy Stamping,
