#SimpleStamping Beauty Abounds

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! I'm so glad you could come by and visit with me today. Wow, what's the weather like in your neck of the woods? It's brutally cold here in CNY. -6 degrees F० to be exact.
Anyway, today I wanted to share some simple stamping with you or #simplestamping, using the beautiful Beauty Abounds stamp set. This stamp set happens to be the stamp set I received in November at OnStage as a Prize Patrol! And I just LOVE it. And this card is so simple. First of all, the card is a simple Whisper White note card. These come in a package of 20 with envelopes making them a super amazing deal. Then I pulled out my Blackberry Bliss ink and went to town.
I began by stamping the large flourish, added the butterfly and finally the sentiment. This card was so quick and so simple and I just love it. I plan to make a bunch of these up (will take me just a few minutes) and send them out to a bunch of friends I haven't talked to in awhile, just to say hello and let them know I am thinking of them and care for them. Who wouldn't love to get a simple handmade card in the mail letting you know someone is thinking of you?
So, don't be intimidated by stamping. It's as simple as ink, paper and stamps. So my challenge to you, grab a package of note cards, an ink pad in your favorite color and the Beauty Abounds stamp set and make a bunch of these cards and send to your friends and family you want to know you are thinking of them.

Happy Stamping,

It's Sale-a-bration and it's the Best time to Join Stampin' Up!

Hello my happy stampers! Happy Tuesday to you! Once again, we're freezing here in CNY, yes, fun times for sure. Anyway, I wanted to make sure I got the message out to you that not only is it Sale-a-bration, the BEST time of the year in the world of Stampin' Up! but what helps make it so awesome, is the opportunity to join the Stampin' Up! family. You see, the starter kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the catalog, however, during Sale-a-bration, it gets even better! And this year, Stampin' Up! kicked it up a notch, maybe even 2 notches! Let me explain. This year, for the period of Sale-a-bration you have 2 options for joining the family. Option 1, you choose $175.00 in product of YOUR CHOICE. Anything you want from either the current 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, the current 2019 Occasions Catalog and even the clearance rack! and all you pay is $99 + tax and shipping is FREE! Awesome right? Well, then there is option 2. Again, you select $175 in product of YOUR CHOICE, again from either catalog or the clearance rack, but you add on the AWESOME canvas tote, and you pay $129 + tax and shipping is still FREE!

And you know what else? There is ZERO obligation beyond this point! You can either continue to enjoy a discount on you orders or you can just go back to being a customer. I love my customers, but it would be totally selfish of me not to share this amazing deal with you. If you want to know more about joining my team, just click here. And trust me when I say, as much as I love my customers, I really love my team and would love to have you join us.

Happy stamping,

I'm just Ape over the Hey Love Stamp Set - Aren't You?

Hello and Happy Snowy and blustery Thursday! Mother Nature seems to have unleashed her snowy furry upon us; but I have a really cute card to share with you using the adorable Hey Love stamp set from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog.
Is he not the cutest? I stamped my cute little Ape onto a scrap Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in with my Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend markers and for the heart, I used the dark Real Red Stampin' Blend marker and punched him out using the 2" Circle Punch and attached it to a piece of Night of Navy that was punched out using the Starburst punch. The card base is Balmy Blue cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4". I added a panel of Smoky Slate cute 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and adhered that to the card base. I then cut a scrap of Real Red cardstock using the Stitched Rectangles and added that to the card front with adhesive. I then added the Ape with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and punched it out using the 1" circle punch and added it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I just love this stamp set. It's fun and perfect if you have school age children or grandchildren that need to have Valentines to share with their classmates. The images in this set will just melt your heart and the heart of any of their recipients.

Happy Stamping,

Butterfly Gala - Simply Stated Yet Gorgeous

Hellooo, and Happy Tuesday! Well, they're calling for some questionable weather  today and I'm hoping the weather man is WRONG! I do NOT want to deal with freezing rain and the awful road conditions that it brings.

Anyhoo, I have  a fun card to share with you today that is quick, simple and uses only a few products and features my product pick this week, the Butterfly Gala bundle. I started with a Whisper White note card and some of the beautiful Botanical Butterflies DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure...this gorgeous paper is FREE with a qualifying order! I colored a couple of the black and white butterflies with my ink pads and Blender pens and punched them out using the coordinating Butterfly Duet punch! Yes, this punch coordinates with some of the butterflies in this gorgeous paper! Stampin' Up! sure does know how to do it up right, don't they? And since it is a duet punch and I automatically ended up with some tiny butterflies, I just flipped them over to the beautiful color printed side and added them to the card as an accent. I then stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral, die cut it out using the Rectangle stitched dies and used some of that GORGEOUS FREE ribbon from the Sale-a-bration brochure behind the sentiment and popped it all up on Stampin' Dimensionals. Like I said, quick, simple and just  a few supplies!

And just a couple of reminders, this month, I am offering a free package of Epoxy Hearts from the Occasions Catalog, with every order of $50 or more before shipping and tax - be sure to use the current host code, you can find that over on the right of this post.

Also, if you would like to join my Blends club, it is closing in just a few days and there are only a few spots left. It is a 6 month commitment and you can find all of the deets here.
If you would like to know when and where to find my classes, join my mailing list to stay informed, by clicking here.

Well, thanks for stopping by, I truly appreciate it. I would love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to leave a comment. In the meantime, Happy Stamping,

Geared Up Garage - Perfect for The Beginner Stamper, The Casual Stamper and the Avid Stamper

Hello and Happy Sale-a-bration! I'm baaaaaaack! I took some much needed time to focus on family and the holiday's, hence my missing in action for most of December, but now I am back to business as usual and I am so excited for Sale-a-bration and the new Occasions catalog. I am SO in love with these releases from Stampin' Up! I can't even put it into words. There is literally something that will appeal to everyone. If you don't have a catalog and you aren't currently working with another demonstrator, I would love to get a catalog into your hands, so please feel free to message me and let me know if you would like one. Trust me, you want one!

As you may recall, in November I attended OnStage Live, which is the Stampin' Up! convention in Orlando, Florida (it was UH-MAZING!) and one of the things we talked a great deal about was the 3 different stampers. The beginner stamper, who is just getting introduced to the fun of creating, but isn't ready to "jump head first" into investing a lot into their new found hobby. They aren't even 100% sure it's something they will do long term (little do they know how addicting it is ;) ). Then there is the casual stamper, they have fallen to the stamping bug, but don't think they have a lot of time to devote to it, but enjoy it enough that they will buy a few things that they know they can use over and over and then there is the rest of us, the avid stamper. We want it ALL, we love to stamp and make pretty things and we want layers and die cuts and embellishments oh my! It gets us all giddy just thinking about it. At OnStage, we were challenged to create cards that would appeal to all 3 stampers and so, I decided to take that challenge and this is what I came up with using this adorable Geared Up Garage bundle.
The first two cards are basic note cards and envelopes. They require no layers and are simple but cute. The first card would be for the beginner stamper. This card requires minimal investment of a package of note cards and envelopes, a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and the Geared Up Garage stamp set. The second card would be for the casual stamper as it is still a minimal investment with the addition of the Watercolor pencils to add color to the card. Then of course the third card is for our avid stamper, as it uses the Geared Up Garage bundle, the designer series paper, the Stitched Rectangle die set and Stampin' Blends markers.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and you see that stamping can be as simple as stamps ink and paper or as stepped up as you like. Have a great night and Happy Stamping,
