Wondrous Wreath

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Today I am excited to share a card with you that was made by one of my a follower of my FB page, Nancy Woeltje using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set. She created this card for our weekly sketch challenge and she knocked it out of the park on this one. Don't you agree?

She also used the brand new Cable Knit Sweater Dynamic Embossing Folder. I just love the texture that gives to cards. For a list of supplies that Nancy used on this card, please see below. Lovin' the Tin of Tags

Hello and Happy Thursday! Today I want to share with you a cute Christmas card I made using the stamp set, Tin of Tags and the Candy Cane Lane DSP. I love this stuff too!
The card base is a standard A2 card from Real Red Cardstock, I then cut a piece of DSP 4 1/2" x 1 3/4" and a second piece, flipped over cut at 3 1/4" x 2". The strip of Basic Black is cut 1/2" X  4" and the Whisper White is cut 2" x 1 3/4". I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink and adhered all the pieces down with Snail adhesive. I then added 3 pearls to add a little something to it. I would love to hear from you as to your thoughts on this card, so please feel free to comment below. Until next time, Happy Stamping,

Jar of Haunts

Good Morning and happy Thursday! Today's share is from the Jar of Haunts Halloween stamp set. I love this set! It's so adorable, especially this "mummy" jar! So stinkin' cute! I'm excited to share this card in my card class this evening!
The card base is Basic Black cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2' and folded in half. The Pumpkin Pie layer is 3 3/4" square, the DSP strip is 5 1/2" x 3/4" and the Whisper White layer is 3" square. I stamped the "mummy" jar and the Happy Halloween using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, using the blender pens and Basic Grey ink, I went around the edges of all the "mummy" wrap to add shading and highlighting to him. I just love how cute this card came out. And the more I look at him, the more I believe he could also be used for a Get Well card! What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below. If you would like to re-create this card, all of the materials used can be found in my online store by clicking on the "shop" link in the navigation bar. Feel free to look around and I wish you all a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,

A Little Something Different

Hey there! Happy Tuesday! I have a little something new and different to share with you! We all love to make our greeting cards, but it's so much fun to find other things to use our stamps and inks for too. I've made lots of coasters from tile, stamps and ink, and I've stamped on fabric before too. But most recently, over the weekend, I played around with stamping round pieces of wood that I made into Christmas ornaments! I LOVE it! I plan to make lots more of these to offer at the craft fairs that I will be participating in. What do you think?
I used various stamp sets, some even retired but I think my favorites are the ones using the Jar of Cheer stamp set. I even added Fine Tip Glue to a couple of them but I notice that made the ink bleed a bit. Next I am going to try that method with Alcohol based markers such as Sharpies or Spectrum Noir and see if that stops the bleeding. But aren't they just the cutest?
So, tell me, beside greeting cards, what is your favorite surface to stamp on? Leave me comments below.
Happy Stamping!

All About Fall

Well hello and Happy Saturday! It's a pretty dreary day here in CNY. Lots of rain and rather cool, but it does make for a perfect craft day.So that's the plan...craft the day away! In the meantime, I wanted to share a card I made with some great Fall colors using the Totally Trees Stamp set from the Holiday mini catalog. I love this set and I love these colors together.
A list of supplies I used can be found below. The sentiment comes from a retired set from last year.
I also want to remind you of a great deal going on right now, it's the buy 3 get 1 free DSP sale! It's going until the end of this month and this great Petals and Paisley DSP is included in the sale. It's a great pack of paper for Fall projects. Use hostess code: KB6G9AK2 to place your order. I hope you liked today's project and hope you have a great crafty weekend.
Happy Stamping!

Too Stinkin' Cute!

Well, hello again! And here we go again, but yes, I need to apologize for being among the missing once ,again. As they say, "Life Happens"and boy isn't that the truth! Just to share a little, my brother in law was involved in a construction accident where he fell from a ladder and was very seriously injured. He spent 2 weeks in the intensive care unit in Fort Worth Texas, 15,000 miles away from family. Needless to say, life was pretty stressful for some time. But, praise Jesus, he's on the mend. He has a long way to go and a tough road ahead, but I am certain he will make a great recovery. God is good and faithful at all times. So all faith is in Him and I have no doubt he will continue to make leaps and bounds with his rehab. But once again, God showed his faithfulness and the power of prayer in this situation.
Anyhoo, I thought I would share the card I sent to him.
Isn't that skunk just too cute?I love the versatility of this Foxy Friends bundle. There are just so many woodland critters you can make with it. Well, that's all for today. Please let me know your thoughts on the card and until next time, Happy Stamping,
