The Perfect Time to Join

Hello and Happy Thursday! Did you know Sale-a-bration is the PERFECT time to join the Stampin' Up! family. During Sale-a-bration, in addition to selecting $125 in product of your choice for $99 + free shipping, you get to select 2 additional stamp sets of your choice FREE (valued up to a combined total of $101). After that, you save 20-25% on ALL future orders as long as you remain active.
What constitutes active, you ask? Well, all you need to do is sell/purchase $300/quarter. That comes out to be about $100/month if you break it down into bite sized pieces. Even better, if you are looking for an opportunity to be your own boss, run your own business, Stampin' Up! is perfect for that too! Who wouldn't love to "go to work" and do what you love?
Stampin' Up! is the BEST "job" I've ever had. I get to share my love with others and make them smile, I get to decide how much time I put into MY business and how hard I want to work at MY business etc. I get to decide how to run my customer service, which is TOP NOTCH, I might add. (I am a firm believer in the Golden Rule!)

FAQ's

1. Can you make a living with Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator? - Yes you can, as long as you're willing to do the work, I know many who do
2. Can being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator help you to support your stamping addiction? Yes it can - it does mine :)
3. Can being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator save you money? Oh yeah...20-25%
4. Do I need to have home party's to be a Demonstrator? - Only if you want to do them
5. Do I need to hold classes as a Demonstrator? - Again, only if you want to hold them. Remember, this is YOUR business, you do what works for you!
6. What happens if I get the starter kit and then decide I don't want to be a demonstrator? - Nothing. Nothing happens. If you don't place any more orders as a demo and don't meet your quarterly minimum, you will be "dropped" from your demonstrator-ship, with no penalty and no harassment.
7. Are there any other "perks" for being a Demonstrator? - Yes! You will receive the quarterly magazine, Stampin' Success, chock full of design ideas, business training and just plain fun; access to the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website, which contains a plethora of training videos and information too numerous to count; the opportunity to attend On-Stage events (convention) to party and learn with other demos around the world; access to private demonstrator Facebook groups for more opportunities to interact with demos from around the globe; early access to new product before anyone else; and access to the demo only website, Stampin' Connection - it's like a Facebook for demonstrators with lots of sharing and design ideas.
8. Why should I join the Kreative Heart Stampers? - I will help you determine your business goals, whether they are to build a profitable business or to just maintain your discount through team meetings both live and virtual, one on one sessions, team swaps, and a team business page. Access to all of my classes and just plain fun and I would LOVE to have YOU be a part of our team!

Heart Happiness - 2018 Spring Occasions Catalog Awesomeness

Hello and Happy Sunday! Well, today happens to be the coldest day of the year thus far here in CNY. We actually woke up to minus 30! Brrrr. So, the best thing to do to stay warm on a day like this you ask? Well, it's head to the craft room! I pulled out some fun new stuff from the new 2018 Spring Occasions catalog.
I'm completely in love with the Painted with Love Specialty DSP and the entire suite of product along with this adorable stamp set, Heart Happiness. And for inspiration, I used the sketch we are using on my Facebook page for our weekly challenge and this is what I came up with.

Instructions:

Measurements:

Rich Razzleberry Cardstock 8.5" x 5.5"; 4.25" x 3.25"; 1.5" x .75"
Painted with Love DSP 4" x 5.25" and cut at 2.5" and flipped the 1.5"piece
Powder Pink 4" x 3"; 2.5" x .75"
Gold Foil  2" x .75"
Scraps of Whisper White to stamp hearts
Scraps of Gold Glimmer to die cut leaves

Directions:

Fold the Rich Razzleberry at 4.25" for the card base. Adhere the DSP to the card base, use the larger piece with the foiled side up and the smaller piece with the opposite side up. Run the Powder Pink  cardstock through the Big Shot with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Embossing folder (hint: spritz the cardstock with a little water before embossing - this will soften the cardstock fibers and prevent cracking) Adhere this piece to the Rich Razzleberry layer that measures 4.25" x 3.25" and add to the card front in the center.
Stamp the "watercolor" look striped heart in Rich Razzleberry ink and the polka dot heart with Melon Mambo ink; run these through the Big Shot with the coordinating dies from the Lot's to Love Box Framelits dies and the Sweet and Sassy Layering Hearts Framelits. Adhere the striped heart with Stampin' Dimensionals. Banner the ends of the .75" pieces Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry cardstock; die cut 3 of the leaves from the Lots to Love Box dies from the scraps of Gold Glimmer paper. Layer the Gold Foil and the Powder Pink, and Rich Razzleberry banners and adhere to the back side of the Melon Mambo polka dot heart with the Gold Foil leaves. Add these to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

And that completes today's card. Again, I just love these products. They're so fun and easy to design with and I will have more to come using these supplies as I'm having a ball playing...stay tuned. In the meantime, stay warm and Happy Stamping,

Today, I am featuring the Amazing You stamp set. I absolutely adore this set. This mix of fonts for the sentiments in this stamp set are just amazing.
I pulled my colors from the Designer Series Specialty Paper, Sweet Soirée, from the 2018 Spring Occasions catalog.

Instructions:

Measurements:

Card base: Old Olive 11" x 4.25"
Designer Series Paper: 4" x 5.25"; 2" x 5"
Whisper White: 1" x 4.25"; scraps for the 3 flowers
2.25" Circle Punch

Directions:

Adhere the layers of DSP to the card base with your adhesive of choice. Stamp 2 flower images in Old Olive ink and 1 in Rich Razzleberry. Then, using the light and dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends markers, color in all of the flowers. When finished, punch them out with the 2.25" circle punch and arrange them onto the card front, adhere the 2 Old Olive flat to the card and the Rich Razzleberry flower popped up with a Stampin' Dimensional. Finally, stamp the sentiment onto the 1" piece of Whisper White. I uses Rich Razzleberry for "Celebrate" and Old Olive for "You" and adhere that flat to the card, again with your adhesive of choice.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are finding lots of amazing ideas along the hop. Again, remember, you are currently here at Katrina's Kreative Heart with me, Katrina Wolfe, just use the link below to move along to the next site on the hop.

Heartfelt Blooms Times 2

Hello and Happy News Years Eve! It's brutally cold here in CNY so I for one am staying in and close to the fire. Hubby has to work..he should make it home before the "ball" drops in Time Square, so if I can keep my eyes open, we can ring in the New Year together anyway. In the meantime, I have a couple of cards using the new Sale-a-bration stamp set, Heartfelt Blooms with you. I can't decide which I like better? Which do you prefer?
Card #1 in the photo is done with sponge daubers and Calypso Coral and Old Olive ink pads. Card #2 is Smoky Slate ink. Cards #1 uses a standard card base of Whisper White 11" x 4.25" scored and folded at 5.5" creating a top folding card, Card #2 uses Smoky Slate cut and scored the same. Both have a layer of Calypso Coral cut 4" x 5.25" and a piece of Petal Garden DSP cut for card #1 1" x 4" and Card #2 .75" x 4". For the stamped images on both cards, the Whisper White is cut 3.25" x 3.5"
I hope you enjoyed today's cards. Let me know which you prefer. Card #1 or Card #2? I would love to hear.
Happy Stamping,
Katrina

Heartfelt Blooms - A Peek into Sale-a-bration

Hello and Merry Christmas from my family to yours! I pray that you are as blessed as I am. Today, I want to give you a peek into the Sale-a-bration catalog, with the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set.
I love the watercolor look of this image with it's monochromatic coloring with light and dark variations in the stamp, it makes it an easy stamp to work with. Here I used Dapper Denim as my ink and layering piece of cardstock between the Whisper White card base and stamped layer.
This stamp set will be available January 3rd, free with a $50 order. I'm going to play some more with this to see what other great techniques can be done with this set. In the meantime, I wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas!
