All That's New - A RemArkably Created Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the RemARKably Creative Blog Hop! I am so glad you could join us! This month, our theme is All That's New! We are featuring all new product found in our UH-MAZING new annual catalog and as you hop along with us, you will see some beautiful samples from our very talented demonstrators. Now, you maybe just getting started here on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart with me, Katrina Wolfe, or you have come here from the blog before me, either way, if at anytime you get lost or are unsure of where to head to next, just use the links below this post where I have everyone participating in the hop listed. Again, you are here on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart with Katrina Wolfe and I hope you enjoy your stop here.

Today, I want to share a fun I card I created with the brand new stamp set, Detailed with Love. This is an awesome bundle found in the Stampin' Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. (Do you have a catalog? If the answer is no and you aren't currently working with a demonstrator already, click here to request a catalog and I will get one out to you - this is a MUST have!) I love this entire suite of product, however, for today's card, I only used the stamp and punch from the bundle and of course I used some of our brand new, gorgeous 2018-2020 In Colors!
To create this card, I started with a standard top folding card base of Basic Gray, measuring 4.5" x 11" scored and folded at 5.5". I then cut a Whisper White square 4" x 4"  and a scrap piece of Whisper White. Before stamping my image, I created a template for my Stamparatus using my grid paper and a 6" x 6" piece of Window Sheet, by drawing out two 4" squares onto the grid paper, one straight and one on the diagonal intersecting one another (I also added 3" squares and 2" squares for future use) - See Video - I then placed the template in the Stamparatus and lined up my 4" piece of Whisper White with the template and began stamping my wreath shape. I added all of the Lovely Lipstick "florals" then adjusted my stamp and then stamped all of the Pineapple Punch "floral", turning my paper, alternating the blue and red template lines as I turned. I then punched the detailed corner punch on all 4 corners and then rounded them all. I attached this to the card base with Snail adhesive. Then, using the Stamparatus, I stamped the oval image from the set onto the scrap piece of Whisper White with Basic Gray ink and ran it through the Big Shot with an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I added this to the card front in the center of the "wreath" using Stampin' Dimensionals. For added zip and glitz, I added Basic Rhinestones to the center of each of the Pineapple Punch "florals" and for a final touch, I wrapped the Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom of the card front and tied it into a knot. I think this color really POPS against the Basic Gray. And that completes today's card.

Thanks so much for taking part in our Blog Hop today, there are so many awesome ideas and lots of inspiration that you won't want to miss; so be sure to use the links below to continue through the hop. Remember, you are currently here on my blog, Katrina's Kreative Heart with Katrina Wolfe.

Lovely Inside and Out - In Around

Hello and Happy Thursday! Wow, this week sure is flying by....before I get to showing you today's awesome project, I want to remind you that this week, Stampin' Up! refreshed our Clearance Rack with some wildly popular and UH-Mazing products!
Which means, none of it will last long, so if you want some deeply discounted awesomeness, get over there quick and fill up your cart!

Now, on to some awesomeness! I had so much fun with my Stamparatus the other day making wreaths, that I decided to try it with the Lovely Inside and Out stamp set and this is what I came up with;
I am going to miss these awesome In-colors come June when they officially retire. They're so bright and cheery. If you love them as much as I do, you'll want to stock up right now while they're still available because trust me when I say, they won't last long at all! Anyway, this time, I used a 3" square piece of Whisper White and stamped the round image alternating Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach using my template that I made with the Window Sheet and my traced squares. Once I completed my "round", I stamped the "Hugs" in Dapper Denim followed by the "& Kisses" in the same Dapper Denim. I attached this piece to a piece of Dapper Denim cut 3.25" square and for the card base, I cut an 8.5" x 5.5" piece of Peekaboo Peach and scored one end at 2.25" and I flipped it around 180 degrees and scored that end also at 2.25" to create a gate fold card. I then randomly stamped Peekaboo Peach on each "flap". I then attached my stamped image to the left flap.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and if you didn't get a Stamparatus during the pre-order period, make sure you have it on the top of your list for June 1 when it becomes available again. You REALLY need this tool in your life and you will LOVE it, I promise!
Happy Stamping,

Making Wreath's with the Stamparatus and Touches of Texture

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope you're all doing well. I got to spend some time in my craft room yesterday, in between prepping for classes, I played around with my Stamparatus and I am so excited to share with you the accessory I made to make wreaths from any stamp and my Stamparatus. The accessory tool is pretty easy to make when you have the Stampin' Grid paper. I just drew out a 4" square in the center of my grid paper and then traced it into the center of a piece of Window sheet that I cut 6" x 6".
You can see it in this photo here. I traced it twice. Once in Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend, then I turned the Window sheet "on point"  and traced it a second time with my Night of Navy Stampin' Blend. Then I placed this inside my Stamparatus and lined up my 4" square piece of Whisper White cardstock with the square I made in the Stamparatus and stamped my image. Then, I just kept turning the Whisper White paper around lining it up in the squares alternating on point and straight on, stamping the image until I completed my wreath. I then went back and added the "splash" of Sweet Sugarplum to the center of the flowers. I layered this piece onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum  that measures 4.25" square and layered it onto a piece of Whisper White cut 8.5" x 5.5" scored and folded at 4.25"
Sadly, the Touches of Texture stamp set is retiring and won't be around much longer. It's an amazing set and is great for adding that "little extra something" to your cards so if it happens to be on your wishlist,now is the time to grab it because after 5/31/18 it will be gone forever and that would be really sad. In addition, the Sweet Sugarplum is also retiring so if these In colors are on you list, don't wait too long as they don't tend to last very long. If you have any questions on how I created my wreath tool for my Stamparatus, please let me know and I will do my best to answer them for you. It's a handy tool to have and simple to make.

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!
