Painted Harvest Mason Jar Gift

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I have a really cute project for you today that will make an adorable little gift for a co-worker, teacher, bus driver etc. It's a cute little mason jar filled with yummy peanut butter M & M's!
I love the Fall colors of these tasty little morsels. They're actually too pretty to eat but I thought they would make adorable gifts and craft fair items. And the best part...they're too stinkin' easy! I just wrapped a piece of the Old Olive mini Chevron Ribbon around the lid and tied it into a bow.

I then die cut a piece of Very Vanilla using the largest stitched circle die from the Stitched Shapes collection and stamped the foliage from the Painted Harvest stamp set, with Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive inks all around the die cut circle and added the sentiment and acorn with with Early Espresso. I added this to the top of the mason jar with a few Glue Dots.

I hope you've enjoyed today's project. I would love to hear your thoughts. Please leave a comment and let me know you were here and if you enjoyed today's project and would like more ideas, tips and tricks, subscribe to my email list; and as a special thank you for joining my list, you will receive a total of 7 Christmas Card tutorials Free just for subscribing.

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn Gift Card Set with Mini Pizza Box

Hello, happy Saturday and happy Fall! I don't know what kind of Autumn weather you're having, but we seem to have moved into more Summer weather than Summer had! I'm not complaining, I love it....but its a bit strange.
Anyway, in honor of the onset of Fall officially, I decided to share a Fall project with you, using the awesome Painted Autumn stamp set by Stampin' Up! This has got to be my most favorite set of the entire catalog, well ok, I love the entire catalog, so I will say it's my favorite Fall set.

These little Mini Pizza Boxes will hold 8 3" x 3" cards and envelopes with room to spare! Honestly, I think you could do between 12 and 16 with envelopes, but I stopped with 8. I made a video to show you just how quickly you can put these together for a gift maybe for your Thanksgiving Day dinner hostess? Or how about putting a bunch of these together, have everyone write a personal "I am thankful for you because....." for someone special and present them with the gift box full of blessed messages! I was recently at a Thirty One party where the consultant passed around a blank colored piece of paper to all of us in attendance to write something positive and affirming to our hostess to place into a a little bag that she was presenting to our hostess as a gift for having the party, but I thought what a great idea for any one any time that needs a little pick me up? Anytime they're having a bad day, they can pull out their little box of cards and read all of the positive things friends and loved ones had to say.

I hope you enjoyed today's project, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. And if you have another idea for using these gift cards and boxes, share those ideas as well, I would love to hear how you would use them. If you would love to reproduce the projects above, you can find all of the materials I used in the links below and if you want more ideas, free tutorials and great information, join my mailing list!
Have an amazing day and Happy Stamping!

Painted Harvest - A Sneak Peak into the 2017 Holiday Catalog

Hi there and happy Saturday! I have to tell you, I am so in love with this 2017 Holiday catalog! Once again, the Stampin' Up! designers have gone and done it again! They have out done themselves; just when you think it's impossible they pull it off! And this Painted Harvest stamp set and Painted Autumn Designer Series paper is just the tip of the iceberg. If you would like to see a sampling and you missed my Facebook live, then head on over and check it out...so much awesomeness to see over there on that video and while you're there, please take a second to like my page. I would really appreciate it a great deal.
Anyway, here is today's card I made using the Painted Harvest stamp set. This is just an awesome set with a really pretty watercolor effect when you do the layering 2-step stamping.

Instructions:

Begin with a standard card base 8.5" x 5.5" of Very Vanilla scored and folded at 4.25". Cut a piece of the DSP 2" x 5.5" and adhere to the left side of the card front. Stamp the first layer of the sunflower in Peekaboo Peach ink and the second more detailed stamp in Tangerine Tango. Cut this layer with the largest square in the Stitched Shapes Framelits collection. Layer this onto a piece of Early Espresso cut with the 2nd largest scalloped square in the Layering Squares Framelits collection and adhere to the card front. Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap piece of Tangerine Tango with Early Espresso ink and cut this out with the 2nd to the smallest oval in the Stitched Shapes Framelits collection and adhere it to the bottom right of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today's card and it gets you thinking about what you can do with this set when you can get your hands on it. The holiday catalog items will be available for customers beginning September 1st. Please let me know your thoughts on the card in the comments below and don't forget, if you earned any coupons in July, you need to use them up this month and if you place an order, be sure to use the August hostess code found on the right hand side of the screen. And, we also have a really awesome deal on Paper Pumpkin this month, it you have never tried it, now is the time, if you sign up before September 10th, you will receive the September kit for 50% off! I guess that covers it for now. Have a great weekend!
And I wish you all Happy Stamping!
