Simply Stated - Fall Edition

Hi there! Another beautiful Fall day here in CNY. Actually, more like summer, but I did get my Fall decorations for the inside out and put around. Next up, the outside. But I did find time to get a card made to share with you. I'm still in love with the Thoughtful Branches stamp set, and good news! It's still available. SU! has decided to make it available as long as supplies last, which won't be much longer, so, I recommend getting it ASAP if it is on your wish list.

This card was so simple to make yet so pretty. I love the Soft Suede along with the Old Olive and so simply lets the recipient know they're in your thoughts. I stamped the line of trees in the Soft Suede after stamping off onto scratch paper, then I stamped the single tree with full strength Soft Suede followed by the evergreen branches in Old Olive. I then stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede and wrapped the Linen Thread around twice and tied a bow. I then adhered that panel to the Old Olive panel and finally adhered all of it to the Whisper White cardbase I had cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4"
I hope you enjoyed today's card and I invite you to please leave your thoughts below. Until next time, happy stamping,

A Wash of Fall Color

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! Wow, Fall is definitely in the air here. There is a crispness that is unmistakably Fall and it makes me want to fire up the apple scented candles and change over to my Fall decorations and décor elements throughout the house...actually, I think I just may do that today!
Anyway, I want to share this cute Fall inspired card with you today. It uses the new Paisley's and Posies stamp set by Stampin' Up!. I love this set and it lends itself to the White Crayon Resist technique I talked about earlier...so of course, I did it and here are the results:
So, what do you think? I love this color combo for Fall. The Cajun Craze is so warm and inviting and I just love the warm green of Always Artichoke mixed with the warm yellow/orange of Curshed Curry and most of all, I love the sentiment as it reflects how I feel. I truly am thankful, grateful and blessed beyond measure especially for all of you who take time from your busy day to stop by to see what I am creating or doing. I appreciate each and everyone of you. So, thank you!

I do want to remind you, that if you live local, I would love to have you come stamp with me, Saturday, October 1st to celebrate World Card Making Day. We will have lots of fun. We're going to stamp 15 Christmas cards, 3 each of 5 designs and we will play a few rounds of Bingo with great prizes and there will be food and snacks and lots of fun.

Under The Mistletoe

Hi there! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend? I did. Unfortunately, hubby had to work Labor day so I spent the day with my Mom and Dad. My brother came over with his new puppy. OMG! she's just adorable! Her name is Mia and she's just a little princess! I just love her. I sure wish Tucker would accept being a big brother because I would get a sister for him in a heart beat but he likes being the baby...the ONLY baby!
Anyway, today I have a cute Christmas card to share with you. This went together a lot faster than it looks like it did, but I love the colors and the feel of this card.

Let me know your thoughts, I look forward to hearing from you. What would you like to see here? Let me know that as well. In the meantime, Happy Stamping!
